TKS S1 Ep 3: "Danse Macabre"

Does the suspected River Guy identifiec by Denise Hill have the initials MH? He would be on his midsixties by now.

No I don't believe so. I did some research earlier about AC and his name was posted in one of the articles. He wasn't named on the episode last night.

River Guy's initials are ERB as far as I can tell. I saw a link with his real name on here somewhere. I would direct you to it if I knew where it was. I did some investigating and I came up with a man in his 60's.

New to forums but I have been following the LISK case for a very long time. I wasn't sure if it was ok for me to ask about why the Dr that called Shannon's mother was not looked into? I truly believe that he killed her and might have killed many of the other girls.

Has anyone checked the string of murdered women in Ohio to see if they match the mo of women in long island

Welcome janda13 and Corpse Tennant :)

:welcome2:

Thanks for the welcome! I am not new to browsing WS but I finally registered last night after watching TKS. I have a profound interest in this case for many personal reasons. I have so many questions but have hesitated to ask them until I have tried to navigate around the site and find the answers myself. I can't find anything on how they tracked these girls except that they were on Craigslist? Were they all from Craigslist? I know that girls on those sites rarely use their real names, so how would they know for sure? I'm wondering if they checked other leads such as the Escort chatrooms that used to be so popular? They were on AOL and Yahoo, etc., and were location specific. I'm not even sure if they are still around, but they could yield clues. There were ones for the NY, LI, and NJ areas. If any of the regular girls on there just dropped out of sight suddenly, they could be compared with the Jane Doe's. It may be a long shot, but if it could bring closure to a family who is hurting or just put someone's soul to rest, it's worth looking into.

First time poster!

It's very odd to me that Olsen stated that he had never heard the results of the DNA match test.

Thoughts??

The burlap bag at Bissett Nursery shown briefly during episode 3 looked like the perfect size to fit a body into. Too bad LE won't release more information as they obviously cannot solve this case on their own. I strongly believe the GB4 killer had some kind of tie or access to the Bissett Nusery and will I feel this way until their burlap can be ruled out. With that said, I also feel that Bissett is completely innocent.

After watching the last episodes, I feel there are multiple unrelated killers. The common details between the cases in Long Island, AC and Daytona Beach are not common enough to suggest the cases are linked.

So the People show - the attorney for Gilbert mentions Bissett as a client of the victim. Then he says there was no connection between the 2 in the A&E show?

Surprised to see how the AC investigation was so inadequate, looked like they did next to nothing.

Going to wait to see till next week, but find it hard to believe there is any connection to LI from FL.

SH2007, :welcome: and thank you for commenting on information referenced in the two new episode "The Killing Season" and for sharing what you think so far. Nice to have you on join.

I found watching the first two episodes, my true introduction to the LISK case, as enraging to take in the extent and patterns of the carnage Josh and Rachel so bravely cover. It took a bit to see past that sense of helplessness and sadness that these unsolved and thus far not well cared for cases, to some extent, represent. It did make me completely curious and compelled me to want to know more.

With these two new episodes, I was amazed and how it had the same sense of being on these websleuths threads, probing for answers over time, past contradictions, blind spots, distractions, distancing and the lack of well documented or shared information, as they keep exploring all the possibilities. Josh and Rachel do a great job at capturing that sense, besides all the rest of their work going in the field, to find more answers and to test the conventional wisdom of some aspects of the cases.

It seems to wear on both them, though, yet they come through as great at being themselves and getting people to trust them. My heart goes out to them as theirs' go out to the victims' loved ones and others touched by this ambiguous carnage. Very proud that the two of them are websleuthers who share these threads with us and I wish them the best as they keep going.

OR she thought someone was chasing her... she was mentally ill. (It seems people are afraid to bring this up but it is possibly important. I think people are afraid of being accused of not caring about her and blaming it on Bipolar disease as an easy out. That's not it! But why ignore it?!)

She could have very well suffered a psychotic break while at the John's house. Why would a John go out to get the driver to ask his help getting her to leave if he was trying to kill her? It makes no sense.

At this point, it seems like she suffered some kind of mental breakdown (either organic or due to some kind of drugs? She could have been drugged or maybe she had some alcohol and that was enough to set her off.)

But i don't think she's a LISK victim. But people have a hard time letting this case go because it was HER body that led to the discovery of the others.

On episode one, I think, they said she had no drugs in her system.

I may have answered a previous post before I understood the suicide that was being discussed. I actually had a conversation about the suicide of a man connected to the Aquarium in Riverhead. A resident there told me that he had been suspected of having something to do with the killings off Ocean Parkway; a road I drive twice every day! Only rumor as it turned out, but fascinating none the less.
