TKS S1 Ep 3: "Danse Macabre"

Don't know if anyone considered this after ep 3 & 4, especially after the interview with Flukeyou.

Personally I think it's several guys from that area. They throw these sex parties with drugs, etc... The Dr being the supplier of drugs to incapacitate the women, they all rape her, then kill them.

I think Flukeyou you knows this because him and his dad have probably attended a couple. It wouldn't surprise me if everyone they've had interest in as a suspect is involved as they probably all attended these parties at one time.

They paid off Michael Pak to keep quiet once he went inside and seen several men there, and with a direct link to Brewer they decided to put her in the marsh instead so she wouldn't be discovered with the other bodies on Gilgo Beach and link them all back to Brewer, and the communities silence on the parties. That's why Bisset took his life when Shannon was found thinking someone in their Sex ring was going to talk now.

Just a theory, but it wouldn't be the first time a group of wealthy guys threw parties like that in a community. JMO

I really wish they'd clarify if they were in the sacks or WRAPPED in them as that's the word that's constantly been used (wrapped), not stuffed or put into.

This is a great theory!

Expanding on that theory and possibility.

I keep coming back to Shannon's case and the way she did not feel safe at the neighbor's house either. When she called 911 I believe she said "They're trying to kill me"

Notice plural. Meaning multiple people were trying to kill her.

Ever since the first time I started to read about her case I always wondered if there were at least 2 or more men there and they drugged her and started to abuse her or torture in sick ways. When she realized the men were not going to let her live through it then she took off but she was most likely drugged so bad she could barely stand up.

I think she mistakingly thought the neighbor was in on it too even though he may not have been. The theory would explain why she ran from the neighbors house too.

So when she ran away from the neighbors house she most likely saw her driver or another car and in the process of running out in the open "the original men" ended up finding her again and killed her to silence her. They may have moved her body before sun up to her final resting position.

PH reportedly had LE connections according to this article. The 911 call was never released and I always wonder if there is something on that tape that alludes to LE involvement. Maybe she saw a badge or uniform and felt safe at first.

So if multiple people were involved and not all at the same time then it makes sense why the evidence is so confusing. Different sex parties/murders may not have had all the same men at each of the events although most were probably the same. Probably not too many men. Thinking 2-4 or so to be sure nobody would ever talk.

Its possible too that only the main organizer knew the girls would be murdered at the end. Its possible the men participating did not know the girls would be killed at end of the night. They may have been told the girls would wake up the next day and not remember anything that happened to them.

When the news broke of the bodies then all participants knew and maybe some of them were shocked to realize they participated and were part of why the girls ended up dead. So everyone clams up for sure at that point. Especially if anybody was LE connection.

That 911 tape has to be released. There is something incriminating on that tape and I believe it would help solve this case. Not sure if there is any legal way to ever get it released. Something is very hokey about that not being released.

Oh and IMO the reason PH called the mother was because he thought if the girl was found then an autopsy on the girl would find out she was drugged so he got ahead of it and called her with the silly story that he gave according to this article. He wanted to have an excuse for why she had drugs in her system.

"called her shortly after Gilbert went missing and said he had medicated Shannan to calm her down."

It is likely that the beach house in question was likely a party house with booze, drugs and sex. Could be the reason why the doctor started acting weird. He could have been scared of someone who hung out there. i.e. - Someone involved in organized crime, ex-con, law enforcement, etc. Doesn't mean that person was the killer, just someone you'd be scared to out as hanging out in such a degenerate environment. With that said, nobody has heard the 911 call.

Hackett was lying about the defibrillation. THey occur when the heart rate slows too far...NOT when he's under stress. I'm a retired doctor, too.

That made me laugh...that was soooo fake...like other suspects who have faked illness in custody or during questioning to get out of trouble or stall investigation. I don't think he's any serial killer but I think he has some shadiness and is guilty of that...wouldn't be surprised if Shannan was hired by him and he had a history of such things

One early media report (sorry, don't have link at my fingertips; probably in "burlap and foremsics" thread) used the term "wedged" inside burlap. I'll look for the link.

I'm all over the place, gah, I thought I recalled a database which cross references active serial killers and their dates/locations, etc? It would be interesting to see all these nutjobs graphed over each other, TK, Chillicothe, IK, Texas Killing Fields, etc etc.
Oh god if they can connect chillicothe I'll be totally freaked.

The burlap bag at Bissett Nursery shown briefly during episode 3 looked like the perfect size to fit a body into. Too bad LE won't release more information as they obviously cannot solve this case on their own. I strongly believe the GB4 killer had some kind of tie or access to the Bissett Nusery and will I feel this way until their burlap can be ruled out. With that said, I also feel that Bissett is completely innocent.

After watching the last episodes, I feel there are multiple unrelated killers. The common details between the cases in Long Island, AC and Daytona Beach are not common enough to suggest the cases are linked.

I am new to WS and after watching all 4 TKS episodes meticulously - I decided to join the discussion.

Regarding the burlap sacks , surely Law Enforcement must have obtained a record of sales from the nursery , if in fact those sacks were for sale? This record would indicate if , when and how many of those sacks were sold. Or were the sacks the bodies were found in already been used? Suggesting he had bought trees / plants from the nursery and had removed them , stored the sacks and used them when placing the bodies. This would suggest he is a local.

I'm not completely sure of this so forgive me if I'm incorrect but did Law Enforcement compare the burlap sacks found with the bodies to the ones belonging to the nursery? I know that scientifically they can compare the threads of both burlap sacks and come to the conclusion whether they're a match or one is made by a different manufacture.

Suffolk county PD botched this case, perhaps intentionally. They are corrupt and leadership well knows that many prostitutes can be traced back to members of the police department including high ranking members. They were afraid to investigate these cases properly due to fear of collateral damage.

:Welcome1: MisMystery1!

Great insights, don't know the answer as I am as stumped as anyone regarding the burlap. If it was bulk or actual bags is unknown? If bags I would think there is printing and actual identification on them. If bulk as from a furniture company who knows?

Happy Sleuthing MissMistery1!

Hackett's a hack. Can't take that guy seriously after seeing him in action on this show.

I've had this thought also. Makes me wonder if they filmed it.

Welcome! Here's an interesting tidbit for you: SCPD NEVER said the girls were wrapped in burlap. Naturally, they wont comment on a comment that was never made by them lol! Your points about the burlap are so true...it could potentially solve this case, but I suspect they were just hoping it would go away...I think someone in LE let the burlap comment slip in talking with the press early on...You tube has a series of interviews with Dormer (former Police Chief) and Varronne (former Chief of Detectives), done by Arrow Security. I recommend them!

Thanks for the welcome! I am not new to browsing WS but I finally registered last night after watching TKS. I have a profound interest in this case for many personal reasons. I have so many questions but have hesitated to ask them until I have tried to navigate around the site and find the answers myself. I can't find anything on how they tracked these girls except that they were on Craigslist? Were they all from Craigslist? I know that girls on those sites rarely use their real names, so how would they know for sure? I'm wondering if they checked other leads such as the Escort chatrooms that used to be so popular? They were on AOL and Yahoo, etc., and were location specific. I'm not even sure if they are still around, but they could yield clues. There were ones for the NY, LI, and NJ areas. If any of the regular girls on there just dropped out of sight suddenly, they could be compared with the Jane Doe's. It may be a long shot, but if it could bring closure to a family who is hurting or just put someone's soul to rest, it's worth looking into.

On TKS, Peter Brendt (former member here) said he wrote an algorithm to track girls ads so when they stopped posting ads...well, you know, we maybe could assume they are not around anymore. We never heard if he was asked to share the results, so don't know what is going on with that. It is a great idea though. Josh and Rachel are here as "Danse-Macabre. Hopefully they will read this and let us know what's going on with Peter's algorithms!

First time poster!

It's very odd to me that Olsen stated that he had never heard the results of the DNA match test.

Thoughts??
Welcome to WS! I think it's odd indeed! Also odd, that he didn't remember when asked if Britney (?) had accused him of strangling her. Who doesn't remember that sort of thing? I believe TO to be a very viable suspect for the AC4 murders.

ETA: Maybe the police lost his DNA or can't make a conclusive match or rule him out. It may be that there are several DNA profiles collected from the same victim?

ETAA: He was identified by Police as a suspect and hasn't been ruled out yet. That says alot to me.

I am new to the site and this case, unfortunately I have yet to watch episodes 3 and 4 as they have not yet been aired here in England but I have been reading threads and posts on here to try and gain as much info as I can. I decided to join this site as I was completely irate with the lack of investigating and compassion the police have given to these victims.

Sorry if this has been asked before but has there ever been a reason given for not releasing the tape or transcript of the phone call made by SG? I truely believe that when she stated "THEY are going to kill me" she was definately referring to more than one person and that this was NOT her suffering an 'episode'. I think she was completely aware as to what was happening at the time. I am confused as to why the police didn't respond within the 23 minutes she was on the phone especially if she was in distress and telling the dispatcher that she believed she was going to be killed. Have the police given a reason for not responding within that time? Does anyone know who the dispatcher was that SG spoke to and has he/she ever been questioned/interviewed?

Sorry if this should be on another thread or has been discussed before.
