Was ME able to speak to the bleach thing? I want that jury to understand what they did with it.

Too bad we can't make sure he dies only after the same agony he made his victims suffer.

Don't worry friend. We have our "justice system" here on this earth, but God's justice, His judgment is excellent. :rose: Hope you can get some rest. It's been a long week, takes it's toll even on those watching. I'll be praying for the families. Take care.

Thanks, Kiki. You too, darlin'.

Muffet, I dont know if she really talked about it. I was in and out during a lot of her testimony. I think that testimony is critical. It helps the jury understand why there isnt MORE DNA evidence. Also the idea that they forced that into her mouth and on her privates while she was still alive is even more horrific. I truelly hope she was unconscious by then.

I found this on a posting on internet and liked it.
SHOCK... It is one of the built-in protection devices the body/brain has. The body and brain are much more in contact than we realize. The brain will shut itself down sometimes...or a part of itself, to block the horrendous pain that might kill the conscious mind. Shock is actually a protective device. It needs to be treated soon, however, or it itself can kill the body.

ITA, Prairie. On both counts.

Thank you, Julie. I hope that's some comfort for both Chris & Shannon and this boy:

I have to disagree with whoever it was that was telling me that Davidson was not cuffed until after jury left. He stood up already cuffed right then and jury was still there. As an attorney, that tells me the court (and apparantly the defense attorneys since they are not objecting) have concerns about him during this testimony.

I was the one that stated that Davidson was not cuffed until after the jury left. I went over the video that I recorded and watched the scene when the defense was cross examining the DNA expert from this morning. They took a lunch break and when he was led into the courtroom, he wasn't cuffed. I watched it over and over. He put his hand to his face as he was led over to the defense table. It was quick but it happened. I know he also isn't cuffed when he sits at the defense table before the jury is brought in because he was also touching his face then as well when they panned over to him. It only looks like he is cuffed because he keeps his hands behind his back whenever he stands up. If I can get screen shots, I will but not sure how to get them from Real Player and also not sure how to post them.

My point is that I guess he is never cuffed which to me is just crazy because he could do anything! Grab a gun from one of the guards and start shooting! What kind of security is this?

I noticed the same thing during Cobbin's trial. When he stood up or moved, he always placed his hands behind his back as if they were cuffed but weren't. I guess it's standard procedure.

OOO Muffet,

That is another very sad case, I just don't understand the way these kids think. Burns are horrible to endure, he did go into shock, but the after effect and years of skin grafts are horrible pain. My ex burned his foot in a gas/barn fire when he was a kid and he said the pain of the skin peeling off was so intense, they would put his foot in a whirl pool to soften the tissue and make it peel.........very long road to recovery.

I have been watching my recordings of the days testimony and I've gotten to the part where the young woman attorney passes out. The judge says "We have a doctor in the house." TK asks for a break and the judge responds "Yeah, I'd say so!" Then he asks everyone to leave the courtroom and give her some space. People start leaving and this is what MUST be mentioned: all these attorney's are around her looking concerned, doing the best that they can to help in anyway that they can and what does Davidson do when escorted out of the courtroom? Does not even LOOK in the direction of this girl but walks out like nothing is wrong. No care for her health whatsoever! How is that for subhuman reaction! I only wished that the jury could have seen his reaction because he would have lost ANY sympathy from any of them right then and there. (That is if there was any jury member who was on the fence about him after that gruesome testimony from the medical examiner.) Animals act better than what he did! A dog would have been whelping and worried about her! So we can't possibly describe him as a dog. I don't know what to describe him after that performance.

I *think* that the hands behind the back thing is standard in most jails. I think when prisoners are escorted anywhere without the use of handcuffs they are forced to keep their hands behind their backs at all times. If you do notice though there are always cops (although in suits and not uniforms) that have him by one arm escorting him in and out. They also sit behind and next to him against the wall during the trial.

Lemaricus Davidson trial, day 5
The jury in the Lemaricus Davidson murder trial will not see pictures of Channon Christian, 21, and Christopher Newsom, 23, while they were alive, but the pictures they did see are too graphic for us to show you, but the jury saw them Thursday along with testimony from the medical examiner about how they died in January 2007.

Consent argued in trial
Medical examiner's report disputes Davidson's claim

The picture of Gary is heartbreaking.

At the end of the article they mention a defense witness (I dont want to mention her name in case she ends up not testifying, but it's in the article) that is supposed to testify for Davidson. Apparently she's an old friend and she can link him to one of the victims. However, she doesn't want to testify for fear of her life after she learned the Defense has been receiving death threats. She also feels her testimony is irrelevant?
