TN - Four adults, 2 kids murdered in Memphis home, 2 March 2008 *guilty*

LE are being pretty tight lipped about this case so far, They must surely have ID's on the victims by now,

Cecil Dotson seems to be in the picture somewhere, maybe as a victim, a perpetrator or something else nobody knows yet,

from reading the links he doesn't sound like a very nice person

The adults were shot. The children were stabbed. Two different killers? Or was someone tormenting the adults by stabbing the children?

Sources tell Action News 5 that the four adults killed were shot and the two children were stabbed. The three children that were transported were also stabbed. All nine victims were found in the same room.

TG, the 3 will survive this brutality and at least can be witnesses to this horrific crime. Poor kids, that have to live with this nightmare.

I wonder if this was about a drug deal gone bad.

Ignorant adults putting innocent victims at risk!!

Authorities identified the adult victims Wednesday as Cecil Dotson, 30, who was renting the house; Hollis Seals, 33; Shindri Roberson, 20, and Marissa Rene Williams, 26. They declined to identify the children.

Police put the time of the killings somewhere between Saturday night and Monday evening. Five of those killed were shot and at least one, a child, was stabbed, authorities said. Investigators have ruled out a murder-suicide.

Cecil Dotson liked to beat on women especially women with whom he had children with.
He is also a murderer and a thief.

I also wonder about the women who were in the home with him. I wonder if they lived the same kind of lifestyle that would put their children in danger? Is a man worth having your children murdered for? Is a man worth losing your life over? These women in that house should have known better.

Flame away my friends, but the blame on this murder probably lies with Dotson and his criminal lifestyle.

The poor kids are the only true innocent victims in this crime.

I think it may be something to do with the family, as they are keeping the surviving children away from there families,

they have not identified the children, nor who there parents were,

so there is still a lot of info that LE is not releasing

Authorities said the children are considered witnesses.
"Nobody will see those children," said homicide detective Joe Scott. "This is a sensitive investigation. We're keeping everything under the wraps right now."

The other dead adults also have arrest records. Seals was booked into the Shelby County Jail at least a dozen times since 1992. His last arrest was last month, on charges that included unlawful possession of a weapon and cocaine possession, the sheriff's department said.
Roberson had an arrest record on prostitution and drug charges, while Williams had an arrest record for traffic violations, said sheriff's spokesman Steve Shular.

According to friends, Lester Street murder victim Cecil Dotson's sister Nicole was at the CJC Thursday morning, speaking with homicide detectives, when she received a phone call on her cell phone.
The number on the phone's caller ID indicated the call was coming from Nicole Dotson's apartment. Dotson said no one should have been inside the apartment at the time. (more at link)

After reading those links one can understand why LE are keeping everybody away from the surviving kids, if as it seems it is family related then the children that are of an age to talk will be able to identify who was involved, and tell them exactly who did it,
