TSA pat-down leaves Mich. man covered in urine

This is the part that bothers me even more than the screenings and the pat downs...the refusal to have even basic human decency. I don't think this is all TSA. The airlines have been treating customers like cattle for years because they CAN...they have a captive audience with no rights. Holding people on planes for hours, not having basic needs covered (working restrooms, water) when trapped on the tarmac, and rude behavior in the name of security. That is not just TSA doing that. This whole thing is an extension of treating air passengers badly. I cannot imagine what it will take, and at what cost to the industry and the country, for it to turn around.

All reasons why I absolutely refuse to fly anymore.

What makes you think you are so protected because you are scanned and patted down? For instance, recently, a kid (see link below) likely got to the plane without even having a boarding pass. Of course it appears he just wanted to fly somewhere, but If he could do it, then why couldn't someone with bad intentions?
"This evidence would suggest that Tisdale entered the grounds somewhere along the airport's perimeter under the cover of darkness before hopping into the wheel well of US Air Flight 1776."

The way the TSA bottlenecks travelers into a mass of humanity waiting to be pornographed or groped, it is now convenient for a suicide bomber to detonate a device right there in line, killing a lot of people. It's no longer necessary to make it past the screening area or onto the plane.
