Poor Megan. [emoji53] She was just living her life, doing her usual things, not putting herself at risk in any way, yet still fell victim to this evil man.

As an aside, I bet her apartment complex is extremely worried about a lawsuit right now.

WOW !!! I was thrilled when I saw **ARREST** this morning, then Shocked to see the news. I have been following both cases and remember feeling angry that this man did this to Molly after his previous attacks and was still walking the streets, and now to learn he did this to Megan, I have no words. Prayers to both these families of these 2 innocent victims !! Sadly, I bet there are more that suffered his cruelty :(
I hope they hang him by his nuggets !!!

Law enforcement is "backtracking" where Kimbro has been, Plano police spokesman David Tilley said. The department is asking local law enforcement in two states to examine unsolved murders, missing person cases and sexual assaults similar to those Kimbro is accused of committing.

"We had the one, and then we had two," Tilley said. "Where there's two, there could be three."

Tilley also said some rape victims could have been fearful of reporting crimes to police because Kimbro is a "dangerous" man.

"There may be people out there who may have been scared to come forward. Now he's locked up, and he's probably not getting out," Tilley said.

Kimbro denied that he killed either woman, police say. His attorney could not be reached for comment.

Glad to hear this. Choking appears to be a significant part of his MO. Now that LE have his DNA profile, hopefully his previous victims can get justice. I really wouldn't be surprised if he has killed before. I cannot find a link at the moment, but I remember reading an article yesterday stating he was first interviewed by LE about Molly's case on April 14th - the very last day Megan was heard from.

Kudos to the Dallas and Plano authorities for working together and preventing further atrocity at the hands of this "man." Clearly, he has zero respect for others, alive or dead.

Woah! I am amazed (in a good way) that his DNA could still be found on her after she was found in a lake. I feel so sorry for her family, yet thankful there is at least an arrest :/

Woooooow... I know this was discussed awhile back but really!!!

Plano PD is highly respected in what they do. Perhaps the victims families can start the difficult process of healing. So glad to hear this monster is off the streets, wished it had happened sooner...

IMHO

I feel the need to vent:

Ladies, young and old, it is not safe to be alone in a public park after dark. Even in one of the safest cities in the country. Just a fact of life, nowadays.

IMHO

When I think about Lake Ray Hubbard, I consider the area as Rockwall, not Dallas.

Well it is a really large lake with parts of it in 4 counties (Collin, Dallas, Rockwall and Kaufman counties).
I read somewhere that the city of Dallas owns the lake though for water supply and parks/recreation so they have jurisdiction over it. Not sure it that's true.
The Rockwall Harbor part is a really nice area.

Thank you for sharing.

I'm fascinated with the detective's asking the electric company to help determine when the washing machine ran. Brilliant info gathering.

(The first link didn't work for me...)

thank you.

both links worked for me

Remember also Jody Arias did a load of bloody laundry after killing her lover. How stupid to think you can launder away all the evidence in one load of laundry.

Clearly these people don't watch Forensic Files or ID Discovery:).

When those of us following the case first raised the question of his Plano connection it seemed almost too convenient for those pieces to come together because as much as we try to connect the dots on here, it usually doesn't come together like that. But I'm so glad that in this case it did.

The only peace that these families can have is to have justice for their loved ones and to know he will not harm another beautiful soul.

It is sickening to realize that his violent past did not catch up with him before he crossed deadly paths with these women, but at least it finally did and will save another no doubt.

There is no such thing as closure when your child, sibling, best friend, is stolen from you. But there is a gratefulness that he will not get away with it and that are answers to what happened.

I have been profoundly touched by the legacy of both these women.
Rest in peace.

Thinking of Megan. What a true tragedy.
