Wizard Wells Jane Doe has been unidentified for 36 years today.

Jane Doe's height and age estimates have been adjusted slightly. She was originally listed as age 25-29 and 5'1 to 5'3. She has been reassessed as possibly slightly younger and taller: 23-27 and 5'2-5'4.

I'm always curious why these small changes are made (was she exhumed and re-examined? was the data originally entered incorrectly, and recently fixed when someone ran across her file?) but I guess there's no way to know. Just posting it here in case it helps anybody in future searches.

Has Judy Proud been considered as Jack County Jane Doe?

Hair color is correct; height is not too far off; timeline is possibly compatible. Since foul play was involved, Jack County could have just been a convenient dumping ground.

Just dropping her in to the mix. Alabama isn't that far. She has a scar on right thigh but doesn't explain where it came from.
