'My daughter walked past people on the floor and blood everywhere'

Mum Caroline Entwistle says her daughter described the horrific scene.

She wrote on Facebook: “My daughter was there with a friend they walked past people on the floor and blood everywhere, this is horrible , I thank god my girls are safe xx”

I wonder if an electrical explosion occurred and it caused a stampede. Or if its terrorism.

Terrible. Sky news reporting the explosion is believed to have been in the foyer area of the arena.

I bet there were many children there. On the news I was seeing most people fleeing, but also some that seemed to be looking for something. I hope there aren't families that have become separated in the confusion.

I have seen another source saying 7 confirmed, but like always in these situations we'll know more in a few hours.

BBC News reporting the local Holiday Inn (hotel) has around 50 children there who have been separated from their parents

Explosion came from foyer of arena
British Transport Police confirmed the blast came from "within the foyer area of the stadium at 10.30pm this evening".
