I apologize. I didn't mean to offend anyone. Fred Coffey murdered and molested children in many states. I did post on several sites, not all. I wanted as many people as would to write a letter to the parole board to prevent his parole. I'll ask the mods to remove them.

Bumping up for Christine... For those not familiar with her murder, please take a few minutes and read a little of this thread dedicated to her. Next February marks 40 years since she was abducted from her home, sexually assaulted, and tossed-still alive-into a freezing cold creek.

Take a moment to remember her, maybe whisper a little prayer for her, if you feel it in your heart to do so.

Her killer has never been brought to justice.

Thanks, LDS, for following the thread. I've tried as well to get some exposure for Christine's open case. Maybe someone in the area can talk with the local papers?

I'm also at the point of contacting Atescadaro and confirming when Mueller actually left there in '74. The guy was a serial rapist (including his own sister), and was convicted in Chesterfield in '76 of yet another rape. Then, after getting out of jail for that rape, he raped and killed little Charity Powers (again in Chesterfield, and as a side note, Charity bears a striking resemblance to Christine). Of all the people I've had the occasion to research, he's the one I keep coming back to...

The doors being found open on other occasions suggests someone with keys. Landlord, maintenance employee (if any), former tenant.

Hi everyone.
I am the sister in law to Charity Powers. Her family has reason to believe that Mueller was the perp in Christie's case. They also stated that Mueller was a maintenance person at the townhouses but that he may have been paid under the table.

Has anyone tried to verify when he left the hospital in California or tried to verify employment at the townhouses?

To answer an earlier question, Mueller is not alive. He died via lethal injection in '99.

Your so right about this. I drove there and I thought exactly the same thing. It was the most creepy place i have ever drove. I give ppl directions to N.C all the time and i tell them to get gas before dinwiddie. I know of 3 people that came up missng and 2 later found dead in the last few years of which I did not know of when I traveled that area.I have linked them for you.

They are all unrelated but for such a small population kinds makes one wonder.

I stubbed upon this case from Katherine W. STRANGE!
I witnessed the sheriff or if you want to call it the police staring right at us as he pulled in the station and he wasn't the only one staring at us, the gas station attendant too was staring, while we were at the gas station. I told my niece and her friend to come in with me to pay, when we left Gas station, the sheriff got into his car as we were heading out of the station. He followed us until we got out of the area and disappeared. That area is the most creepiest place I know!!!! I believe with some of the children missing, and still missing, I don't think Barker was the only one..
