WA - Author Ann Rule Was Abused, Ripped Off By Her Sons, Cops Say

It just goes to show you that anyone can be the victim of a crime. It's doubly horrible when the victim is elderly and infirm. I'm glad she has people looking out for her that care about her. Those sons need to be jailed for a long, long time.

I don't think each child receives $25k, it's $25k/mo for all four children. Lawsuit states son Michael and wife receive salaries totaling about $9k for their work for Rule Enterprises. He reportedly receives more than the other children since he lives next door and is most involved in AR's day-to-day care.

this breaks my heart....I, too have been a fan of AR for so long! How utterly sad that she is dealing with all of this. What an amazingly talented woman she is. I'm so sad to hear of her health issues too. I have always anxiously awaited her next book and could hardly stand waiting until it went on sale.

Her rotten-to-the-core sons should be ashamed of themselves and don't deserve a dime from her imo!
