The first reseach on it was in the 70s at the Body Farm, so I seriously doubt it is "under reasearched" as he tried to make it appear. It may not be something he is familar with, but there is plenty of research on it. They used it in a case in Chattanooga where a place which was supposed to have cremated bodies but had been burying them for years in the back field. They used it to help date the year of their deaths because hair is still on a body after being buried for a long time.

I have seen the Body Farm on several tv shows used as expert witnesses...

I believe I read that it was also used in the funeral home case in Georgia, a place that had a broken crematory and other problems. They buried some and stacked other bodies in their own backyard.

I hope that she is alive, although everything points elsewhere..Call me naive if you want.. It's just that I have a daughter, Bella, and she is 19 months old..I'm only a few years older than Casey and I just hate the thought that a mother could do this to her child.. So I HOPE that she is alive..With that being said, I am NOT confident that she is alive. I go back and forth.. I just don't know..Please don't attack me for my feelings!

You are correct........that is the one I was referring to in a previous post. Their crematorium broke years before and they were just burying them in the field.
 
My question on the bands was if a chunk of scalp with hair was found. Caylee's head was hit on something in the trunk and that was left behind to decompose would that give them the same result as if she had died and then a piece of scalp was left behind.

I said Chattanooga because the land was on the line between there and Georgia. They had both the TBI and GBI there investigating it. The Body Farm took months to identify all those bodies.

They also did the explosion at the illegal fireworks factory in Benton, Tn and took in refrigerated trucks to use as temporary morgues and labs to identify all of those body parts.

Yeah, it is very interesting. I have family not far from the town where the funeral home was. Maybe I have a morbid thing going on but forensics are fascinating.

So, back to evidence. It sounds like the hair is going to be an indicator of the time frame for when the person became dead. As well as who was in the trunk. I've been wondering if they will find a lot of live hair which could confuse things, if KC used the trunk for babysitting.

Although I have to say that my first impression with this whole case was there was something big going on and the lawyer is there to make sure Casey does not speak. It is just my instincts telling me this and I have nothing to back it up. This would. If there is any indication that this may be what is going on the chances of this little girl being alive is slim to none unless Casey is way smarter than anyone thinks she is and she somehow managed to hid her with someone who has a set made of stone.
I have always wanted to believe until there forensic proof in writting or a body that there just might be a sliver of hope. Those hopes are becoming harder to hold onto. The hair band thing just isn't clear to me yet. Will have to try and do some more reading.

It is gone.............she sent that to me, I clicked on it and now it is gone. The entire link no longer works at all. Sorry, I am trying to find it again.

And the banding info does help clarify why/how LE is conducting its investigation - at least to me.

No the only thing I see is a written claim that there is a something on this cragslist. I looked at something like this weeks ago and went and looked at a site and could not find any pictures so I assumed it was all BS. I guess I will have to search on the site again. I don't even see the uneven letters that was mentioned but sometimes when it comes to things like myspace and facebook and wierd sites I miss a lot. Not used to them and I don't know how they work so I end up not seeing what everyone else does.
 
I searched craigs list. I cant even find escorts, let alone Casey. I see personals, not escorts. If you find a direct link to it post it please.
