Marinette woman accused in non-accidental death of 3-year-old

The child's death was reported on June 15, 2023 as an accidental fall down a flight of stairs.

Samantha Wishman, 32, is charged with first-degree reckless homicide and neglecting a child-consequence is death for the June 15, 2023 death. An initial court appearance is scheduled for April 15.

While investigating the boy’s death, investigators accessed Wishman’s phone records and found numerous text messages she allegedly sent to the boy’s father before his death.

“I'm ready to hurt these mother f------ kids nobody f------ understands I can't breathe so this is so much harder now I'm having more problems breathing," she allegedly wrote in one text.

“I been real dizzy I can’t breathe hardly it’s even harder with these f------ kids n [sic] nobody is goin' to take any of this serious until they walk into this house n [sic] find me passed tf [sic] out on the floor,” she wrote in another. “These mother f------ won’t f------ stop I’m ready to lose my *advertiser censored* [because] I can’t breathe I can’t yell so I’m just the joke around here.”

IMO there is no way he sufferered those injuries from falling down stairs, and also that after he was injured that badly, they thought he was fine and didn't need to go to the hospital.
I would like to know what the boy's father and other children witnessed and heard. I would like to hear him say why he stayed with her after receiving those texts. JMO.

I find the defendant's mother to be deluded.

According to records, text messages from Wishman to the boy's father shortly before the boy's death say she's ready to "Hurt [these] kids," and "I hate my life sooooo much."

When asked about those texts, Samantha's mother explains what she thought was the reason behind those texts.

"That's her stressing that she's stressed out," Tammy said. "She's done that so many times when she's stressed out to him."

Samantha Wishman will be back in court in July.

If her daughter is sending texts like that all the time about the kids and wanting to hurt them that tells me it was just a matter of time before she acted on that. It certainly doesn't mean that she is innocent as her mother seems to suggest.

I think Tammy is in for a rude awakening. I believe she will definitely be found guilty.
