"You would understand why Gerard would be excited about that prospect because of his family background," Mr Byrne said.
Mr Baden-Clay is the great-grandson of scouting movement founder Lord Robert Baden-Powell.

So whatever he is saying, and was mouthed perfectly by his family to court, is not corroborated by anyone else. Plus we are talking more than 10 years ago. He himself said she was not into self-harm and was not depressed or suicidal on the day prior to her disappearance.
