Yes, a lot of people are sure that's how it happened, if it's indeed there.

demarte said some bpd's could include mental illness, but didnt see this for ja. if you see her being humanized, then please go look at the pics of travis when she was done with him. all this testimony today has humanized her in a way that has shown the jury exactly who she is. she is a calculating, manipulating, sleazy murderer who has brought her evil life into this trial to push the blame on an innocent man whose only fault was to try and help her. if you go and look at her tv interviews, you will see a happy, perky, cheery little jodi spinning lies while she's blushing her cheeks and asking the crew about their lives. look at her in court when the jury isnt around and she will be smiling, passing her little twitter notes to mdlr to post for her so she can tell her fans how juan and his witnesses are lying about her. see how she spat out of a filthy mouth lies about a humble bishop who took the stand to speak some truth for travis. and it goes on and on and on. i dont mean to be rude nali, but this person is evil. someone on here posted with truth, even the inmates wont be safe with her. i believe that. she has been like this all her life, it is escalating, and she will always be like this. there will never be a time she is not jodi arias because she is evil. she cannot be humanized in the way you are talking, because there is no doubt in my mind she will murder again if not stopped.

But "devaluing" as Dr. D is explaining it doesn't mean making up things about others. It means seeing others in a bad light. So starting to think Travis was thoughtless and arrogant instead of desirable and smart would be BPD "devaluing." Telling people he's a pedo is something else entirely.

You know, I think if the attack on the State witnesses stopped right here, I think you would be right. Jurors may very well think she could not help herself. But if DT continues to discredit the doctor I do believe the jury will think less of her than they did when they heard about the letter. JMO

I'm glad you're expressing your opinion. The " seriously " was surprise, not condemnation.

Mental illness has always been her shot at LWOP. You're expressing why she might get that despite herself.

I bet she acted just like Rhoda when she was younger, and as recent as yesterday, you could see the evilness in her face per yesterday's the court photos!

I agree with you and I have said she was born evil. But how else can we describe the kind of person she is without saying she is crazy or psycho or mentally ill? It doesn't take away from the gravity of what she did. I am just so sad for Travis.

IF... hypothetical IF she got up there and told the truth- said she planned it and told when she began to plan it and why (in her mind) she decided to do it. IF she explained everything from the gas cans to the stolen gun to the hair dye etc. If she told exactly what happened, what she did, how she tricked him, how she murdered him, what she said and how he begged. I could agree to give her LWOP- IF SHE TOLD THE TRUTH- ABOUT EVERYTHING.

I'm pretty certain all of the *advertiser censored* (except possibly the YouPorn, which I'm still waiting for a believable explanation about) was only in the Restricted Sites area of his browser(s), put there by Spybot's Immunize feature. There apparently are registry entries of these sites because they were added to the browser but I don't think Travis ever visited any of them.

Then JM better make that point quick. I've yet to even read anything about "manipulation" coming from Dr. DeMarte. I know her testimony is far from over but I hope it's coming soon. I don't like this side of the fence.

She hasn't mentioned the lies yet, has she? All she has explained so far why Jodi thought she had a right to murder Travis. She hasn't given one reason or another why Jodi would lie and again that's not something she can't help but control. It's not like lies are just falling out of her mouth before she could stop them. It is far more calculated. That's the difference.

DeMarte will explain that JA will kill again, that she has a murderess heart, and that she cannot be rehabilitated. Remember. She just stated that JA no longer cared about TA. She went right on to RB as if nothing had happened. No remorse. This is huge to me. No sadness, No remorse, No mitigators. Very sad a human being can end up acting like a depraved animal. This was not Travis's fault.

I'm not sure how far she can go in that direction. A fair point is to ask her if she could become quasi-normal with the right help, but there is no reason Juan should ask that question. The defense should, as it could make the difference between life and death, but instead they'll call her an incompetent liar.

I've been here since the beginning and I never troll. Nothing will change for me regarding her GUILTY verdict. BPD or not, she premeditated his murder.

My dilemma right now, is in how much she can control the things she do. The cheery little Jodi, the lying Jodi, the devaluing Travis during this trial. Is that BPD? Can she HELP the way she is? If she cannot, I'm leaning towards LWOP.
