Rape allegations mount against Bill Cosby #3

Come to think of it, Damon Wayans has been off the radar for quite awhile. I don't think he's even on the celebrity C-list now. Wayans was definitely a 90's thang, and all the colors of In Living Color have faded.

His last screen writing credits on imbd were 2009 for two TV movies. Last acting credits were in 2011, again for two TV movies. His last credits as a producer and director were for the 2009 movies for which he had writing credits. His last soundrack credits were in 2003. His last credit as a talk show guest was his appearance as a guest comic on the Jimmie Fallon Show in 2014.

Boo hoo, Damon. Marlon was a guest judge on America's Got Talent several weeks ago, and I remember thinking, "oh, yeah! Whatever happened to those Wayans?"

Good luck with the backpedalling, Damon!

Damon is so off the radar I forgot he existed and had a momentary panic thinking it was Damon Wayans Junior who made the jerktastic remarks.

And now DW Junior will undoubtedly say something...

OK I wanted to be fair and listened to the whole thing. Surprisingly he wasn't a total jerkmuffin all the time, but the remarks about Bill Cosby taken in proper context - yeah they're just what the media said. (It starts at about 25 minutes after some diabetes, SNL and social media talk. )The female presenter says her mother used to tell her a long time ago about someone who was drugged by Cosby and then he says that some of the stories might be true and he's sorry for anybody who was really raped by Bill Cosby but then backtracks into lying *****es. He also says some things about his legacy and how it shouldn't be destroyed like this and innocent until proven guilty and all that, and Bill you're so articulate you can just tell the truth and Hannibal Buress shouldn't be a star yet because he's not ready and he took down his hero and why would anyone even think it's sexy to rape a drugged lady. (I guess it's a good sign he doesn't believe it would be fun.)

But yeah, if you're a victim of a rape by Bill Cosby it would be incredibly offensive.

BBM.

Really?

Imo, there is no way to take the term "unrapeable" out of context.

Really?

Could have fooled me. Here's what Mr. Cosby said when he "addressed" the allegations in May: "And reality isss the situation.. and I.. I.. can't speak."

But back to Wayans. I can't help but think he did this for publicity. Any publicity is good for him lol.

I get a bad feeling in my gut that Wayan was saying aloud what a lot of powerful men in show business have been thinking.

Times need to change.

Unfortunately I have a feeling he is saying what a lot of people men and women have been thinking during these decades long accusations. People think that only young, slim, "attractive" women get raped. The truth is, rape is rape no matter what someone thinks about the victim's looks. How shallow can some people be?

Yeah and well, what in the everloving heck? Beverly Johnson? Janice Dickinson in her heyday? Actresses and models? Playboy bunnies? Pretty enough for Hef to have around.

If they're too ugly for Damon Wayans, who the hell would he deign to have sex with?

The article is titled:

Bill Cosby Scandal: New Accusers With New Allegations

but as far as I can figure out from the story these are people we have already heard of. Unless the show presents some new faces that aren't mentioned in the article?

Law Review: Temple's board dropped the ball on Cosby allegations

Bill Cosby Accuser Recalls Alleged Ordeal: Comedian ‘Made This Horrible Mess All Over Me’
[The Wrap] Tim Kenneally September 10, 2015

A number of Bill Cosby‘s accusers appeared on “Dr. Phil” on Thursday’s episode of the syndicated talk show, with one accuser providing a graphic account of her alleged encounter with Cosby.

The accuser, identified as Linda, told host Phil McGraw that she met Cosby on a movie set.

...“His hand came around to the back of my head and, you know, as I looked up, he was exposing his genitals. He was right in my face,” Linda recalled.

...Afterward, Linda said, Cosby told the aspiring actress that he had “blessed” her.

It looks like a&e is airing a show on Thursday night - "The Women Speak", I think @ 9 pm.

“I follow my conscience and my principles, and I used my voice to speak up and correct a wrong done by this man,” says Johnson. “You just cannot be silent. As women we were taught to be voiceless…this has been going on for a long time, and now the rape culture is exposed.”

A decade ago, Andrea Constand first reported to police that Cosby had drugged and molested her during a January 2004 dinner at his Cheltenham mansion. Under Pennsylvania's 12-year statute of limitations on felony sex crimes, prosecutors still have until January to bring charges.

Castor's office heard from other Cosby accusers besides Constand during the 2005 investigation. But, the former district attorney said, he never felt confident a judge would let them testify.

"If you pull the trigger on a case that requires that testimony and the judge doesn't let it in," Castor said, "you end up looking like the biggest chump in the country."

“Guilty,” Wendy Williams said. “I think that Bill Cosby’s pretty disgusting.”

“I think that men taking advantage of women is pervasive in this business, and I think that women not realizing that the breadcrumbs are being thrown on a path for them to get it is also pervasive.

WILBERFORCE (AP) — A historically black college in southwest Ohio says it is permanently removing the name of comedian Bill Cosby from its communications building.

In a statement Friday, Central State University in Wilberforce says the Camille O. & William H. Cosby Communications Center has been renamed the CSU Communications Center. The school had been temporarily covering Cosby’s name since July while it made a final decision.

The Cosby family has donated more than $2 million to the university.

I am so relieved. The University made the right and only just decision. If he had not been a wealthy celebrity he would have been in jail a LONG time ago.

Bill Cosby Tells Judge That Insurer Is Threatening His Defense Against Accusers

September 15, 2015 6:43am PT by Eriq Gardner
The entertainer's lawyers say an AIG lawsuit "drains his resources" and will "bolster" the women who claim being his victims.

Bill Cosby is telling a Massachusetts federal judge that he shouldn't be forced to endure a "four-front battle" in efforts to get past allegations made by various women.

The entertainer is currently in court against Tamara Green, Therese Serignese and Linda Traitz in Massachusetts as well as Janice Dickinson in California over whether these women were defamed when Cosby's reps denied the occurrence of sexual misconduct.

AIG Property Casualty Company has tentatively agreed to pick up Cosby's legal costs, but the insurer has also filed a lawsuit against Cosby aiming for declaratory relief that it's not responsible.

...Cosby says he can't afford this multi-front war, and further, it will harm his chances of prevailing.
