I wondered who he had in mind when he was ordering all his equipment... Stephanie or someone else... . lots of planning and thought went into this murder and all it's peripheral actions, mainly, I think because it was Easter and Mum and Luke were going away without him. Where to, I don't know, or how. Or why, but he knew he had 4 days of an empty house and no questions to answer. And he must have had a running list of things to do, because I recall that his neighbors on the Monday, Easter Monday remarked on him hanging up line after line of laundry . They had been away that long weekend also, so Vincent had a lot of leeway, really.. no nosy neighbors, no nosy Mum, no nosy Luke. Just him. Free as a bird, coming and going as he pleased.
Free to contact the black sheep brother, too.. no questions asked, no explanations demanded. Their quantity and timing of phone calls between each other will be of great significance in their sentencing, and since Marcus has been accepted in pleading guilty to accessory after the fact, I accept that , but I am convinced that those two brothers maintained a close relationship despite living a 1000 klms away from each other and that component of Marcus not being allowed home and that this murder was something they spoke about in the abstract quite often. The victim may have been obscure, but the act itself didn't appear to be unusual, to either Vincent or Marcus. ..
Marcus was living with flatmates, and workmates at the vineyard NW of Adelaide and apparently didn't seem fazed, he continued working that weekend, the usual meals, and chat about the weather and work went on and yet.. and yet all this time, he knew that his twin brother was cleaning up after this horrendous murder, of a woman that a community was beginning to search for, the alarm had been raised, but Marcus quietly sits and waits for the parcel post from AU Post to arrive........
