It’s unclear if the remains are those of a Pekin boy missing since last November, but dental records have been requested, according Jeff Lower, chief deputy of the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office.

“That’s pretty much going to be the way it’s going to have to be confirmed,” Lower said regarding whether the remains are of 13-year-old Robert Bee Jr. or another individual.

An autopsy is scheduled for 8 a.m. Tuesday, Lower said.

Ugh. I want to believe Little Man is around somewhere, but this is really close to home.

"Nothing will come of it” as detectives continue seeking to learn the fate of Robert Bee Jr., 13, said Pekin Police Public Information Officer Billie Ingles.

Imo I don't get why they were so quick to say it has nothing to do with him unless it was a size that would have been way too small. [emoji848]

He left town shortly after Bee’s disappearance, according to Bailey, but she said he is back in Pekin. None of this has been confirmed with law enforcement authorities."

Is it just me, or does anyone connected to the Pekin police always seem negativewhen they speak about this case?From telling people not to search all the way to this, it just seems sometimes they want this case to "go away". Either they are confident they know what happened and are waiting for evidence to prove it or aren't to concerned. Sometimes I can't tell which!

Not a forensic expert but the fact his dental records have been requested tells me they think the remains may be a male around his age. But this is just my mind wandering a bit on the subject.
 
Oh, so in so many posts I have just learned that Pekin police can not only speak, but act as well.
Bravo.

These people let this little boy down so bad. Still shaking my head.

That's a valid question - considering what we know about his care.

(Subscribed after reading a news article about his shirt. Caught up with the thread. He's just a little boy. Yes, I know he's 13 - but he's a little boy who needs to be taken care of. His case deeply saddens me.)

Well Robert is 4'7, 100 lbs. he's already kind of on the short side.
