Guest Suggestions for True Crime Radio

It would be nice to have either professor Dean Spade or Laverne Cox on your show. We need someone to bring more attention to the number of unsolved murders of transgender women of color. That's the reason I registered here.

Welcome sealinc2 :)

:welcome5:

Are there some specific cases/links you are referencing? Maybe I can help start a thread on this topic.

I would love to be a guest and speak about community-based volunteer searches, our organization, or any of our past cases including a couple that are still considered open by us as no body has been recovered.

Why don't you invite Kala Brown, and have her talk about the serial killer

Thanks. I'll look into this and see what we can do.

The Norwegian journalist Tor-Erling Thømt Ruud has made two seasons of a Norwegian podcast "uløst/unsolved" about unsolved murders.

Great idea. Thank you

Maybe Jim Clemente has an update on LISK? The new accusations against a police chief are startling.

I'm sure a lot of us on Jenny Chen's thread would love to hear you interview her husband Jonathan Reinhard to see if you could get a coherent story out of him. We don't suspect him of anything, but this case is a hot mess of vague information raising more questions than providing answers. We will supply questions in a heartbeat. Get DexterMorgan on as a co-host and anything could happen! :D

There is a new book on the Colonial Parkway Murders, 'A Special Kind of Evil: The Colonial Parkway Serial Killings' by true crime authors Blaine Pardoe and Victoria Hester out now. Well worth reading. Blaine and Victoria, a father-daughter team, would make great guests for True Crime Radio.

How about Nancy Grace, Mr. Jim Clemente and others that attended Crimecon 17. I would enjoy hearing about how things went.
It would be a great promo for Crimecon 18.

Lol. My AA sponsor wouldn't allow it. Lol. Too stressful.

Drew Peterson is probably bored and wants the attention. So get a phone interview with that guy. Lol.

Hes like the Nate Haskell from CSI Vegas that loves the attention.

If I may,

I would like to request to speak on Websleuths True Crime Radio about the release of my feature film, The Miranda Murders: Lost Tapes of Leonard Lake and Charles Ng. The movie will be released on Amazon Prime and Amazon Instant Video October 13th 2017. We did a great deal of research to recreate the footage caught by these two killers and would like to share some of the information we found while researching for the film.

Allow me to share some information about the film.

ABOUT THE MOVIE:

The Miranda Murders: Lost Tapes of Leonard Lake and Charles Ng

The film is the true story of Leonard Lake and Charles Ng, two former veterans who between December of 1983 and June of 1984, kidnapped over twenty women. Together, the two worked to condition these women into becoming their personal sex slaves. Lake and Ng filmed their progress and various journal entries about their crimes in a series of private tapes, which were later used as evidence to convict the two in court. After the trial, the tapes were hidden away from the public.

The Miranda Murders, directed by Matthew Rosvally and produced by Guil Claveria, recreates this real life footage shot by the actual killers, as a means of telling the story through their eyes. It shows the chronology of the situations that lead up to the initial kidnappings and follows Lake and Ng’s various attempts at brain washing and torturing their victims into submission.

The characters in the film are all portrayals of the actual victims and every scene has been heavily researched to be as accurate as possible to the real life footage not available to the public. This style of filmmaking provides audiences with an experience that allows them to get inside the mind of a real life murerer. Cast members of the film include Johanna Rae, Theresa Ireland, Kelley Wete and Kelci C. Migel.

Thank you for taking the time to consider my film as a subject of your show. I hope you have a wonderful week.

Sincerely,

Matthew Rosvally
Director
