enablers.
for whatever reason they can justify away in their own minds why they protect anti social behaviour is beyond me.
I dispise them in all forms they hide. more so than affenders.
without the enablers the affenders can't hide.
some enablers are scared sure but plenty just have their heads up their arses in denial.
imo
and if that's whats going on in Williams case......the protector/enabler should be equally prosecuted.
I agree, in principle. Personally, I would prefer to have a clear conscience than to carry the burden of anyone elses guilt or have to pay for my silence with time spent in prison (not to mention the lifelong stigma which would be attached to my family and I) if I was charged as found guilty of concealing a serious offence.
An advantage for an enabler in this case is not only the peace associated with having a clear conscience but the ability to start a new life and, lets not forget; the all-important reward of ONE MILLION DOLLARS.
I know which remedy I would want (no, beg) to take the one that coincides with the (often painful) reality, provides safety and aids in my recovery from what must be a dysfunctional, if not extremely toxic, relationship.
