Which part? The info that egregious was used in connection with Tylee's remains comes from the arrest documents. The second part is my speculation: If JJ's remains were in any way disturbed, then egregious would apply to him too.
My humble apologies. You are correct, and I had completely forgotten that distinction was made in the charges.

Show me any evidence of covid being in Idaho in October and then I can consider this anything but totally ludicrous idea.

Your post seems very personal for some reason.

And you seem to be conflating AC's death in A with TD's in Idaho? The inset post in my post referred to AC.

My point would apply to both, though. We can't rule out COVID as a complicating factor, per current science.

I have calibrated 3D models of 5-gallon buckets in my library with these measurements: 11.91" top outside diameter / 10.33" bottom outside diameter / 14.5" height. Assuming those dimensions are accurate for the buckets shown in the scene, I have camera matched the models to several of the buckets in the drone photo and I've added simple ten foot rulers (one foot intervals) for your convenience. Please feel free to use this image to make your own measurements: WARNING: possibly shows human remains -- http://visuallaw.net/SCALE_ADDED.jpg

"He had this toy he really loved called "ducky". It was a toy him and his mom made from toy story. He loved it and carried it everywhere with him. She earlier explained to me how she had to order certain parts for the toy to make it complete."

Could that have been provided for the corpse-sniffing dog? JJ and Tylee were so close that any toy of JJ's would have had her scent on it as well. But I really don't know how these canine "operatives" work.

Clearly, there was much work done after the laser scanning was completed. If you study THIS IMAGE and compare it with the images below you will see that the pop-ups with the privacy panels are erected directly over the "hole" and the rest of the excavated area. It is possible that the orange object may not be the main corpse and the digging stopped when they located the burial place. They may have documented the scene and then erected the privacy pop-ups to complete the excavation and removal of the body or bodies. I'm also pretty convinced that the site by the pond is a separate burial for one of the kids. So much work there and it is obvious law enforcement was operating with very good information. You don't see any excavation anywhere else.

I'd say not only possible, but probable, given the timing of the erection of the tents. Also, the orange object shape matches the shape of the depression in the dirt almost exactly. There is still one portion of the depression it doesn't cover. So if there are remains on/in the orange object, they are probably not the only ones to be recovered.

Organophosphate poisoning is another cause of pulmonary embolisms. I imagine if organophosphate poisoning can cause them, there are other drugs/poisons that can too.

I don’t know if organophosphate (OP) would be a substance that would be tested for in autopsy, or if it can even be detected.

Here’s link to OP causing pulmonary embolisms:

Here’s link to information about organophasphate — it’s something that can be foumd in a number of products.
Organophosphate poisoning: diagnosis and treatment

I don’t doubt that blood clots caused or contributed to his death. But I don’t think the blood clots just formed naturally.

This is also interesting... If anyone has been following the research of exactly what brings morbidity the covid virus does..it is not simply a respiratory disease in the sense that the real damage being done is the destruction in the epithelial cells caused by oxidative stress which shuts the body's systems down leading to death.

The same thing happens here with the organophosphate poisoning... It is the oxidative stress that creates the massive clots in the lungs.

"However, some studies have indicated that OP poisoning may increase lipid peroxidation, induce oxidative stress, and reduce glutathione levels.4 Under high oxidative stress, tissues may sustain damage and persistently exhibit an inflammatory response, leading to cellular necrosis.

I think they could tell by JJ's skull that it was him, he had very unusual teeth, and they knew immediately. and Tylee was a guess based on it being JJ. MOO

Because LE does not notify families of the deceased without proof of remains, there has to be more that we do not know. They cannot simply speculate about unusual teeth or surmise by the size or shape of skull. It is my understanding that LE does not have the authority to identify a body on hunch or sight in any condition.

Perhaps some part of the body was taken from the scene and tested immediately or tested at the site? Otherwise, then LE would not have been able to notify the family on June 9.

Wow! I think this should be submitted as a tip @diggndeeperstill ! Excellent find! The black strap handles seem to be there. (ETA) Crediting @Michael0808 for this amazing find upon reading back.

If it's the bag it explains why the corners kept their shape when it was transferred from the ground to the tarp. It looks to have been ripped at each end so that it opens more flat.

I need to have a look at the size of the men in relation to the tarp to see if we can't get an idea as to the size of the tarp and then the orange material in relation to the tarp. Next to the mattress there in the room it looks to be about the size of a large pillow.

Looking at the man standing next to the tarp it looks to be slightly over 6ft square, and I'd guess the orange material is about 2-2.5 ft in relation to that, at its longest. first picture in this post - ID - ID - Joshua Vallow, 7, & Tylee Ryan, 17, Rexburg, Sept 2019 *MEDIA MAPS TIMELINE* NO DISCUSSION
A 5 gallon bucket (or a 3 gallon for that matter - same width, just shorter) is 12” diameter for size comparison.

ETA A 45 cal. Pistol is approx. 7.5 - 8” long. The bag I pictured from Amazon is 14” long. Don’t think near enough material from his gun bag.

I feel for Larry and Kay and those who will witness in court and who are going to have to travel again and again and again.. a la the Arias case. Both sides will have psych evals on both I would think... hmmm, who were the players in the Arias case for example to juxatapose here? And delay, delay, and delay.

A la Jodi case which had LDS etc. religious undertones... Richard Samuels testified that Arias suffered from acute stress disorder, dissociative amnesia etc. which developed into post-traumatic stress disorder. Samuels said he came to this conclusion after reviewing evidence in the case, examining Arias, and administering a test to diagnose PTSD. Psychologist Janeen DeMarte debunked Richard Samuels tests. And then we had.... domestic abuse specialist Alyce LaViolette who presented a talk entitled “Was Snow White a Battered Woman?”

This is gonna be lots of experts and delays... MOO

Wouldn't it be fab if we had Dr. Janeen DeMarte show up in court in this case? She was the one who spelled out the BPD diagnosis for Arias. At length. With extensive "data points".

They detect human decomp odor. Jmo

Has anyone else wondered how the families, who live states away, were able to "confirm" the remains found on June 9 were those of JJ and Tylee--unless they were already in Rexburg June 9?

This one has tugged at me for a few days. In my search for some answers, I engaged in a full-on search of this case stumbled upon something. And of course spent the rest of the day researching and speculating.

A little background: JJ's grandparent's (Woodcocks) petitioned the court for guardianship/conservatorship of JJ on January 29, 2020. I will refer to this case as the GC case. On the day Lori was arrested, January 30, the court granted temporary custody (Note: To either the state of Idaho or to the Woodcocks; I presume to the Woodcocks). On February 5, an attorney ad litem was appointed to represent JJ in the case.

Court records for this show the following activity:
  • June 4 - Motion filed (court notes verbatim: Motion to Dismiss RE: Petition for Appointment of Guardians and Conservators)
  • June 5 - Notice of Remote Hearing
  • June 5 - Notice of Remote Hearing
  • June 5 - Status conference was held June 5, the Woodcocks were present
And as we know, the warrant to search Chad's property was issued on June 5.

This lead me to wonder who would have filed motion to dismiss the case? Why was the motion to dismiss the case filed a day before the warrant was signed? And whether or not it is just a coincidence that the status conference in this case occurred the same day the search warrant was filed?

*********************************
SPECULATION: I can't help but wonder if LE had some pretty substantial
proof that the children were deceased and buried on CD's property--perhaps a sworn-statement or an admission from someone who either participated in the demise of or witnessed the deceased bodies and/or participated in concealing them.

If so, perhaps it was either legally necessary or was deemed appropriate given the nature of this case, to notify JJ's attorney and legal guardians.

If so, this could explain why the motion to dismiss the case was filed before the warrant was signed and why there was a status conference on June 5.

If so, is it possible that on or about June 5th, the Woodcocks received notification that there is newly discovered evidence strong enough for a warrant to be issued for a search of CD's property and that they should get to Rexburg as soon as possible?

This could also explain why LE waited a few days to execute the search warrant--to allow time for the family to travel to Rexburg. Otherwise, they would have been states away watching the search unfold live on t.v. and social media.

It seems that a family member must have been in Rexburg to identify the remains the evening of June 9 otherwise how could they "confirm" they were of Tylee and JJ on June 10--before an autopsy was performed.

Or is this mystery of mine, as simple as--the family was already in Rexburg or they flew to Rexburg June 9? And if so, we are back to--by whom and why was the motion to dismiss filed and/or was it just a coincidence that a status conference in he GC case was held on the same day the search warrant was signed?
***************************
Does this make sense or have I walked myself into a corner on this one? I'd like to think I have come full circle on this one but must remain humble and inquisitive --which is why I am putting this out here.

My apologies for the loooooooong post but I don't know anyone more informed and invested in this case as my fellow-websleuthers.

I look forward to your thoughts on this.

Again, most of this post is PURE SPECULATION! >MOO/JMO<

I'm way behind in the thread but IMO you're on to something! This is an astute observation and the most compelling evidence that there is an unknown informer that I've seen so far.

What if you are a sociopath (or even a pshychopath)?

They hide bodies bc they don’t want to go to jail.
So maybe I should have said generally speaking.
But even sociopaths/psychopaths know it’s against the law. So maybe not guilt, but knowing that society deems it wrong and not right. So they know the difference.
A psychologist/ psychiatrist might be able to tell us. I’m not qualified to ramble further on this point.
