Pickard allowed that Schuhmann was a dead ringer for Heslop. Pickard has been quoted in the London Daily Mail and The London Times as saying that Heslop was a heavy drinker who could have used her yachting connections to escape to another island without identification documents.

They do look very much alike, I guess the "friend" is trying to imply that someone did something to both of these women.

First, I don't think Flora is a friend of Sarm. Second, in my opinion I think that Flora is insinuating that Sarm and Schuhmann might be the same person and also insinuating that she disappeared suddenly just like Schuhmann. Maybe I read it wrong. IDK

I thought she was trying to go for the serial killer angle or smugglers kidnapping specifically women like them.

JMO but wouldn't be Sarm a bit old for this? Not saying she's old don't misunderstand but I would think they'd go for teen/in twenties girls?

David Woody was in a group whose boat was moored 100ft from Siren Song, and was surprised Ryan didn’t ask them for help to find Sarm after he woke up alone.

‘I would be trying to find out if (anyone) saw or heard anything,’ Mr Woody said. ‘He could have spoken from his boat to our boat, or motored the dinghy.’

I get the feeling that RB didn't do much to search for Sarm that night. He called LE but immediately lawyered up and refused a search of his boat. I thought they were very much in love? MOO.

Attorney David J. Cattie previously represented former Casino Control Commission Chairwoman Violet Anne Golden of St. Croix who is now in federal prison after a conviction for official corruption.

Given all the talk about corruption and dodgy LE behavior, isn't that interesting?
 
I’m a little concerned the official missing FB page hasn’t posted an update yet today. St. John is a lovely place with lovely people and I hope she’s found safe, soon.

A bit of background. My husband use to live and work in the USVI. We have a home in St. Thomas. That said...

My husband and I were discussing this morning if we think the Feds are involved yet. There are a ton of Federal agents in the USVI. So I don’t have an answer to your question, but I’d hope if he tried to leave, the Feds or Coast Guard would stop him.
This could also be why you aren’t hearing much from VIPD, if Federal agents are working the case, VIPD likely wouldn’t say.

Would have thought so .... Or even bringing in private investigators if jurisdiction allows, and that can be financed in some way,?

I only suggest this as I believe the ex CSI of the Met in the This Morning interview posted above stated that UK police can't get involved without being 'invited' by local LE.

RB's actions, or lack of, sticks out like a sore thumb. There is absolutely no justifiable reason to explain why he did not sound the alarm for the surrounding boats anchored nearby.

Bane and Stevenson met in Michigan and she says that his demeanor completely changed after their 2008 wedding. She said she ended their honeymoon early because she feared for her safety.

The couple divorced in 2014 and Bane moved to the Caribbean in 2015.

Stevenson now says that she is communicating with the Virgin Islands police about Bane's past and has provided authorities with court documents related to their marriage and divorce.

Speaking to DailyMail.com, Stevenson and her new fiance Carpenter say that they suspect foul play.

The couple said that Bane's father has flown to the Virgin Islands to be with his son.

So it looks like RB's dad flew in to the USVI after Sarm went missing.

RB's lawyer insists that RB has spent "countless hours" searching for Sarm yet there is zero evidence that he has done anything of the sort.

Any local or resident expat, who has access to any kind of small boat or dinghy, will know all the isolated nooks and crannies along the shorelines. Probably easy to reach at night and go onshore where nobody normally goes.

I sailed in the Grenadines....lots of uninhabited little cays and islands, not to mention the shoreline areas of the islands.
I'm sure it's the same for the Virgin Islands....if not more so with its more abundant vegetation.

Poor Sarm.....so senseless.
