Big Thank you, @AmandaReckonwith!
Big Thank you, @AmandaReckonwith!
Yes the idea that she was moved etc. etc. brings up many questions for me. The only thought I had was the girls had the coolers but if the coolers play a role in the prosecutors case I am sure we will find out. I keep thinking back to Frazee. An eyewitness said he burned the body although she never saw the body but I still think he burned evidence and the body is buried since he had access to excavators and the ranch land was so remote no one would have seen or heard anything. But without eye witness in this case makes me wonder just how they are going to tie this up as first degree.
Maybe LE was just letting all the people who had spent a year investigating Barry have the joy of seeing those handcuffs click shut. That would be so satisfying, right?I am still wondering why BM was arrested at the side of the road ... with what looks like 7 law enforcement vehicles behind him.
And I am wondering what he had in the back of his vehicle. It looks like it could be rolled up carpet, to me.
I wonder if we will ever know if he was heading out of town, permanently, or if he was perhaps moving evidence and the police were waiting for this moment.
I've been online since 1993 and can honestly say I've never known anyone that uses the Tor browser to access the dark web, so that they can avoid being tracked online. I have no doubt some folks do, I've just never known anyone that does it for that reason, so I do have to wonder how common that actually is?
As it pertains to BM, I have no doubt, a man with ugly, dark secrets to hide, might be inclined to search out how to access the DW for various reasons. Most folks just go "incognito", but if LE does uncover (or if they already have) that he was trying to hide things that way, I don't think anyone here will be surprised.

Seems like the safest/smartest thing to do considering the girls were living at the condo. God forbid he looks out the door peephole and grabs a daughter to hold hostage, or they in turn would lunge at an arresting officer. 7 vehicles...he wasn't going anywhere, done for the day.
Appears to be a carpet.
Does anyone recall how many pages of discovery there were in the Caylee Anthony case? I remember reading thousands of pages but I’m not sure it was as many as 10,000. We saw every little scrap of paper thanks to Florida Sunshine Laws.
Portion about Suzanne starts at about 30:22.
I wonder why they would wait 11 days before searching the house if they had found something that important. During Andy's search, Chris said LE could obtain a warrant by telephone almost immediately if they had enough probable cause. That was when the cadaver dogs made hits at the beach and on Barry's properties, but they turned out to be false.Info from The Interview Room:
A viewer asked, "Did you hear anything about a suitcase/tool case in a body of water/pond in the Morphew case?"
Chris responded that Barry bought a 50 lb. burlap sack of corn, or rather he got someone else to buy it for him, and said it was going to be used for hunting (put out for turkeys? Probably deer.). We don't know if that's in play or not, and will not know until the affidavit is released. Chris did some research and found that could be used for absorption as well as decomp.
He also said holding the home for 11 days is a LONG time. He thinks they found significant evidence in the home to hold it for that long.

I don't know which he said could be used for absorption, but corn absorbs water, while burlap is moisture resistant. Over time it might absorb fluids, though. I'm not sure how either one would affect decomposition. Imo
They didn’t wait 11 days to search the home. They locked the house down until they could secure the warrant. Once warrant was secured, they searched the home for 11 days. Reportedly, BM stayed with a friend while LE held the home and searched it. The home was released back to BM on or around May 26th. (See link below). Is it possible that they had to wait 11 days for DNA to be checked on whatever they found?
Or they had to wait for some special equipment they didn't have, or someone with special skills to be available, to search some particular area of the house/grounds?
How were they able to hold the house for 11 days without a warrant? Was there some kind of intermediary warrant issued?

So LE secured the warrant a few days after SM was reported “missing”, which makes total sense as it would take a couple, few days to get a Judge to sign off on a probable cause warrant.

I'm not sure why they didn't search right away. Maybe they saw something when they went in, and it just took 11 days before a judge approved the warrant. Maybe initially they just got permission to lock it down because it was a potential crime scene? Is it possible that they had to wait 11 days for DNA to be checked on whatever they found?

Oops, just saw we both basically posted the same thing. Anyway, that's the only explanation I can think of. LE must have suspected it was a crime scene, and maybe it just took some time before a judge approved the search warrant. It also may have taken investigators some time to put the warrant together. They may have wanted to wait to see what evidence they found during the initial search and the bike scene. ImoThanks. I appreciate your reply.
The part that I don't understand is how did/could they lock the house down until they could secure a warrant? Surely they would have needed something official to allow them to lock the house down?
Or maybe they declared it a crime scene right away, and that allowed them to lock it down?
Just curious.
