I wonder... If he asked for the testimony from family members and friends, it means he thinks they will be in his favour.
And I haven't read any negative commens from his circle so far. Quite the contrary - C's mother trusted him absolutely, C's friends envied the "fairytale romance", his bosses promoted him and praised him as an excellent employee, his friend of long duration (8 years) was absolutely shocked, said B was a gentleman, even his former gf talked about him in superlatives.
How is it possible that nobody noticed his disturbed personality?
I really don't understand.
He could have a narcissistic or antisocial personality disorder. Some people with these disorders are very good at mimicking normal human behavior. They rarely seek treatment because they believe there is nothing wrong with them. Also, as I mentioned before, they tend to be charismatic and charming, which may be why he's been described as a gentleman. Imo

I do know that. That was my point.
He and other foreigners blamed were put in that situation, unfairly.
It doesn't matter if they were guilty of other crimes, they were not guilty of this.

He had no connection to Caroline's murder so he was never Icharged. LE said they questioned him and dismissed him as a suspect early on.

That's a good point. As Caylee points out this isn't a common idiom in Greek (or even one that Google has ever heard of), so maybe AK is translating an English idiom into Greek. I know he's had further LE expert/specialist training abroad, including both in the U.S. (F.B.I.) and in the U.K. (New Scotland Yard), so he would presumably know English well and that would make sense.
So it seems that AK besides being a true detective is also an excellent, well read linguist! :) :) :)

Sure, BUT not even a tiny, tiniest crack???

"I said to her: "Should I take the little one and go upstairs?". And she answered me: "No, do not bring the little one, I do not want you" and began to shake her body to leave my arms. I kept holding her tightly in my arms and telling her that the little one should go upstairs to sleep."

This may be a poor translation or misreporting, but this part doesn't make sense to me - I thought C was found in the attic?

His brother, Fotis, did.

Has this been reported or are you just inferring this from the fact that Fotis chose to stay with Caroline's mother when Babis went with LE and was subsequently arrested?

I read earlier today that F has visited B in prison and has given him a book and B has spoken to his relatives on the phone. Although by all accounts they do not support him and are not trying to make any excuses for what he's done/hire expensive lawyers to get him off.

It was reported in an article linked on here that F stayed on to comfort C's parents .

Yes, I understand. I was just pointing out that he was arrested for his involvement in a robbery, but was only questioned in regard to the murder. So the murder wasn't actually pinned on him.

Since the confession, he has been visited by his brother who brought him a book and clothes, and has used a phone card to call other relatives.

That he brought him some things does not mean he will lie about his character on the stand in court.

His brother, Fotis, did.

The Sun Jun 21

A pal on the island told SunOnline: "He is in a state of shock and absolutely distraught. All of his sympathy is with Susan and David. He wants nothing to do with his brother."

Well, the investigators, at least, noticed he was cold and emotionless when talking about the murder. It could be that nobody ever witnessed him before in a similar context, or in a situation that requires one to be empathetic.
Yes, I'm positive sth is off with him, he is emotionally detached ("far away" gaze in pics), <modsnip> I don't know about narc as I have never met such a person.

Tayaway -it is not fair! You roused my curiosity!!!!!!! Penny for your thoughts about F?? Aren't you going to explain your CRYPTIC remark about a brother?

One of Fotis' friends said he wants nothing more to do with his brother - it's in the quote and link. I called it right from the start, just hours after LE took Babis off the island; his brother stayed behind for C's family, forget Babis! Oh no, people said, he's just like everybody else, in shock. No. MOO

Yes, that's kinda mistranslated. If I understood correctly, this alleged conversation took place in the attic-where the couple's bedroom was- between them, and the baby was not present/in the room at the moment. So B allegedly asked her- and that's how it should have been translated- "Should I take the baby and come (back) upstairs?". He failed to say, however, where was the baby during that time, if she wasn't there with them. Downstairs, laying on the floor? In a crib? A high chair?

Yes, there is something about his statements, or at least the way they are described, that make him sound either extremely immature or low functioning. It could be just the way it's written, but it doesn't seem like his communication skills are so great. I found it interesting that the one thing he asked for in jail was the book, The Origins of Everything.

I see. As a brother he surely knows B like nobody else does. And F behaved perfectly staying on the island comforting C's mother. Also visiting B in prison is correct. This is his family after all.

I meant pinned on him in the possible eyes of the public.

I didn't mean he was charged by the police

I'm sorry I guess I'm just not able to make myself understood.
