A night or so ago, we discussed this here. If you look at eMedicineHealth.com, I think it was, it will tell you that the whole class of benzos are sometimes used in surgeries to produce amnesia and that they are used illegally as a date rape drug.

I don't really know..total speculation on my part...but I'm wondering if maybe Hailey had not gone to her mom with concerns about inappropriate behavior on SA's part towards Hailey..maybe confronted SA, which of course he would deny and as much as I hate to say it...from what I have seen, I can totally see BD being one of those moms who sadly chooses to believe the BF, but a confrontation and short split up could have transpired at the time. CD and Hailey's friends mom both have said that she wanted to live with her dad...

In my experience working with teenage girls in an emergency shelter, this is more often the response of said mothers than not. It tends to do more harm than the sexually inappropriate behavior itself.

Probably a stupid question, but does anyone know when BD is going to speak tomorrow? I really want to keep an eye on her body and facial expressions.

I read that somewhere, but have yet to figure out who said it..was it thru the media? Just reading that pizzed me off..like it's some kind of "game" or something..This whole case makes me feel like I'm being played so that shouldn't surprise me..

Can't be any of them - there are all present and accounted for. This is someone that hasn't been around as LE can't seem to find him.

I can totally see that!..but can not imagine for a nano second doubting my child... OneLove, I could even picture SA admitting to BD that 'something' may have been going on..or better yet, that maybe some action was 'misconstrued' by this poor child...promising it would NEVER happen again again BD forgiving all..I feel that way just from seeing her excuse/justify everything SA has said or done thus far in this case...
 
Do these look like ankle socks to you? They do to me. Pretty new in fact. You can also see what appears to be a blood stain on the bottom of the left sock. Looking closer, why would anyone be wearing socks in what looks like really rough terrain. I pray they are not connected to Hailey.

I have even seen abusers when they got caught tell the moms that the little girls came on to THEM, as though they are not accountable for their actions, and then the mothers treated their own daughters as though they were "competition", the "other" woman. It is heartwrenching to see.

Its been a long long time since I had that job. I had to quit when it started affecting my two young sons. We had to have police escort everywhere, including to court, with our last sheltered girl because she could "witness" at a drug trial and her life was threatened. She had been put into prostitution at the ripe old age of 11 and was 14 at the time I knew her. *sad*

This leaves me drawing a blank! We don't know of anyone that can't be accounted for..so why would it knock our socks off? ..and the better question for me would be why am I even trying to figure it out when I believe it's BS to begin with, lol! I wouldn't be surprised if her "press conference" didn't even address this tomorrow...I certainly don't think it will.. at least not with LE's approval..we'll see! Time to call it a night...Hopefully we will have real news in the AM...Nite All!

Billie Jean Dunn, the mother of missing Colorado City teen Hailey Dunn, has scheduled her own news conference for 1 p.m. today.

Dunn said Sunday night that she hopes to clarify details regarding the day — Dec. 27 — her daughter is believed to have gone missing. Also, she wants to talk about someone she called a person of interest.

Because my next thought was CD's GF and I could see it going something like this....She and CD and/or GF got into an argument and a threatening remark made which NOBODY knew about until a family member comes forward recently saying they overheard something..blah...blah..you know the rest...

Whomever it is...her story is sure to be a doozy...

when we first heard about it the word "HIM" was used. So apparently it is a man she is going to point the finger at.

At this time investigators can't confirm this person is a person of interest but continue to say there are several persons of interest in this case.
