Krista is only 20, so I'm trying to keep that in perspective, but she *appears* to be a bit more risque and hanging out with people who look a lot more *experienced* than she does....on her FB page, at least.

Has LE discussed any possible connection to drugs or who it is that she knew in Conway?? I've got to wonder if Krista was there for something illegal.....and got involved with the wrong person/s or substance.

I don't know.....on that FB page....I see a beautiful, young, innocent girl trying to fit in with someone with a lot more experience than herself. Just an opinion.

I think the first picture is one of those Senior Year pictures so I don't think we can really make judgments about it; like how innocent she looks because she's on a swing since the school's the one who would choose all of those things. It doesn't look like she was just swinging in her backyard and someone took a picture; it looks like a photoshoot.
 
In my photographer opinion... This first picture appears to be a professional picture (it also looks to have been scanned in as if it was originally a print.) At the very least an amateur photographer, posed picture... point being, she wasn't out there swinging and just stopped to take a picture.

So her looking "innocent" in that first picture does not surprise me. Not too many people show cleavage in their professional pictures. Especially not if it was a school picture of some kind... if it was really from 2 years ago that would be about right for senior pictures.

The second picture is a casual, in the mirror, taking a picture with a friend type picture. To me it looks like two young ladies who were having fun, being silly. I have seen more risque pictures of 12 year olds on facebook and my space.

The second picture is not bad, in my opinion. They don't appear to be doing anything except posing for a picture.
They could have been drinking.
They could have been high.
They could have been doing something violent.
They could have been doing something pornographic.
They don't appear to have been doing any of the above.
That borders on miraculous for a facebook picture!

I may have found some info on the friend in the picture above that could, potentially, support the possibility that she was hanging around with some questionable people.. I am still going through my findings and if anything. I feel warrants a mention I will update..

Not a moderator, but I wanted to warn you before you spend a lot of time on this. (Hopefully I'm allowed to do that.)

You won't be able to share information, websites, history, etc about a person (friends, baby daddy, etc) unless they are publicly named in the mainstream media.

You won't be able to share suspicions about them unless they are named a person of interest or suspect. That is basically the general rule.

Private messaging a moderator to see if you can share something is always an option as well (if you have the option to private message, I believe you need a certain number of posts first.)

I don't want you to go to a whole bunch of work only to find out you can't share what you found. Generally, if I find something like this I will finish it out, then save it for later, so I have it ready to go when the person is named.

so to go with the caller on NG last night.....does it look like front end damage on her car to anyone? I am unsure so I resized the image.

I wonder if she was meeting someone to buy/sell something from craigslist? My son does that a lot and it makes me soooo nervous! At all times day or night!
 
If somebody drove the car to where it was found how did the driver get home?
 
So, I drove past the lot yesterday. They have it taped off with crime scene tape, and it is being guarded by uniformed police. It is the parking lot right in front of the fitness center on the right hand side as you drive in. There is a huge pile of sand on one end of the lot. The uniformed officers might have been there since they were draining the pond, but that was not the impression I got. That was my first visit to Cranmore but my impressions were confirmed......it is tucked out of the way, well off the traveled street (Kearsarge). You do pass several nice homes and there is a set of apartments on the right just before you get to Cranmore. As you drive in the fitness center is the first set of buildings you would reach, the base lodge is further down. One ski run is off to the left of where her car was found.

I have a few observations I would like to make:
1) The driver's door was ajar, not wide open. If she were forced from the car, would the perp really have given her time to stop, turn the flashers on and partially close the door???????

2) Why would she be here, of all places? If she were fleeing from someone, why go to Cranmore? Why not go to a populated area or the police station? Nothing is very far away in Conway.


3) If you know where you are going, you can drive into Cranmore from Fryeburg via River Rd, Green Hill Rd, Hurricane Mt. Rd, Kearsarge Rd. A person would never have to be seen driving Krista's car down the most travelled road in town, Rt. 16. Take 31 minutes according to Google:

They would have followed in another car, dropped Krista's car at Cranmore, got into the other car and drove away. I wonder if that is the car they seized yesterday?
 
If she had hazards on... Could she have had engine trouble, or tire/wheel trouble, turned on the hazards and pulled over, only to be met with some weirdo pretending to want to help?

I know at times I've been driving and heard a funny noise, turned on the blinkers and pulled over to a parking lot or something and make sure the tires were ok, checked the oil and gauges thoroughly, etc. I've even called my husband to get his opinion on funny noises (which he loves :rolleyes:). Maybe something like this would account for the hazards being on.

Still would like to know for sure why she was in Conway at that hour at all, though, engine trouble or no...

When she got out of the car it's very possible she didn't close the door completely in fear of getting locked out (wouldn't shut it off & take keys=keep it running for heat) especially with baby in the car..I leave my door like that a lot when I'm pumping gas..Not running but with the keys in ignition cos I'm only gonna be a few mins.

Where the car was found shows she pulled off the main road due to an accident?, fake or real LE?, car trouble?, get a better cell signal? something else?..The flashers on leans towards some scenarios more then others..I don't believe the perp allowed her to do anything with the car before taking her away from it..He probably didn't even know she had a baby in there cos once she's out of the car he would've grabbed her quickly to get out of there before another car came along.

Keep in mind that blood was found in the car. That points to something actually happening in the vehicle, not outside of it.
