GG's definitely not what I would consider good looking. Maybe for a girl who is looking for something to gain, he may be considered to have some superficial quality... If, for instance, someone's looking for someone to take care of them, someone with money, etc. The thing is it's more than external, more importantly are internal characteristics that make a man, personality, character, etc.

Well said

It's very hard to collect on life insurance without a body. Did he miscalculate tides or another variable or did he formulate the plan with the intent to wait what could be years to collect (if not convicted)?

Grand Jury convenes tomorrow in the US
Reporter says GG may never face charges in Aruba , but may in the US

--------------

This is all IMO, but, I continue to believe that before this reenactment by ALE, GVG also had fashioned his own drama, in order to lure RG and continue a ruse on Aruba:

I still think that GVG told Robyn:

A) He was a producer/director
B) That she was star material
C) He was scouting locations for photo/video shoots
D) He needed test shots, where he may have played the leading man (this is the "beyond pornographic" pictures apparently found.) Or she wasn't conscious when he did this?
E) He had a partner or another actor on the island (This could be where the tatooed man arrives at the restaurant to discuss business with RG and GVG.)

Of course, this is communicated fabrication on GVG's part to Robyn. He had his own agenda or agendas. I think he decided the old Esso/Nanki Club abandoned buildings were not isolated or abandoned enough.

You can see that there are white buildings located where the reenactment by ALE was happening, from there it is only a short walk to the shoreline. Correct me if I am wrong, but these are probably the abandoned country club rooms.

I think that GVG saw some fishermen and decided that this would not be secluded enough.

A fisherman does claim to see the couple not go in the water, get in the car and leave.

(However, I question if the blood on the rock was as a result of a quick blow to Robyn's head, that no one would have seen.)

I think that is when GVG took Robyn to the oil refinery abandoned buildings (as per the National Enquirer article) and told his "business partner" to meet him there.

The above is IMO.

I read that the reenactment was based on GGs story and that of witnesses
GG says they went snorkeling and the fisherman says they did not get into the water
In the video, it shows the actors putting on equipment to snorkel
Did they reenact it both ways?
How would they decide?

Was any snorkel equipment found?
I can't remember

Did they find her shoes?
Did they find her handbag?

Were these items in the hotel room, on the beach?

Calling the prosecution's charges against his client, "all smoke and no fire," Baez said his client is not a guilty man but, instead, the victim of a prosecution looking to make amends.

"What's very unfortunate about this case are the political pressures due to the Natalee Holloway case that unfortunately Gary Giordano is now paying for," Baez said, referring to the high-profile case of Alabama high school senior Natalee Holloway, who disappeared while on a senior class trip to Aruba with her school in 2005 and was never found. Holloway's family publicly criticized Aruba police for the investigation into their daughter's death.

Meanwhile, Giordano could face more legal trouble back home in the United States. A federal grand jury is scheduled to convene in Maryland tomorrow to determine whether Giordano could face U.S. charges in the case.

Bolded by me

Would there be any charges other then insurance fraud that GG would face in the US?
The above says "the case"

I have not heard any reports of any snorkeling gear found for Robyn. I'm sure GG would claim it was swept away w/ her, jmo.

Excellent question and one I have been considering lately. The AMEX policy states that after 52 weeks the missing person is considered deceased and the pay-out will occur. My impression upon reading that was that would have affected the plan of how to carry out the murder, but maybe it didn't. One year is not that long, really. GG fits the profile of an organized offender, not a disorganized one. Thus his story, however dubious, was planned this way, IMO. He didn't expect so much trouble from a country known to be light on pressing murder charges. But I do think it's possible he was fine on the 52 week delay.

MOO.

This link is for an earlier report, which states the following, my bolding:

"Now, Aruba police will have more than two weeks to mount a case against Giordano, based on evidence collected from witnesses, surveillance video, personal cell phones and laptops, and other information collected by police and the FBI, which is helping with the investigation."

Plural, so just assuming it's both. Something else I hadn't noticed before, the girl (aspiring model) that came forward w/ her mother stated that GG wanted to take her and/or them to Aruba, yet GG's lawyer claims he knew nothing about Aruba until Robyn told him she wanted to go w/ him. Just another contradiction in GG's story.

Wow what a blatant lie from Baez - he says RG had insurance on GG as well and strongly implies that she was the beneficiary. Complete b.s.

"Yes, the two of them had policies on each other," Jose Baez, the newly hired defense attorney for Giordano said today on "Good Morning America." "Now, of course, since Gary was paying for the trip, Gary was the beneficiary of Robyn's policy."

Also, what is this "of course" b.s. that Gary was the beneficiary of Robyn's policy. He had to mail in a separate form (forged) to have that occur, otherwise the pay-out goes to her estate. He was NOT her domestic partner. He was not even her boyfriend. There is no "of course" in this equation other than of course he murdered her and made it look like an accident to collect the cash. MOO.

p.s. there are two ABC videos at link which show parts of the reenactment and are very helpful. Cutting herself on a rock appears to be a valid part of his story.

I am sure that is different than what I heard this morning
I will look for it when I am back

There is a lot of lawyer double-speak. He says "Correct" a few different times when George tries to corner him on him saying RG took out insurance on GG. Liar!

His beneficiary was his mother.

The documents don't lie, Baez. You are all fluff. I hope this case fully exposes your incompetence.

Does anyone think it strange that Robyn was wearing the same dress 3 days on a row?

There is a similar dress here:

I think she wore similar dresses on these 3 days, not the same one. That would be odd indeed. Maybe she likes this type of dress because she was a bit self-conscious about her weight gain.

I saw that and couldn't believe it :maddening: If there was ever a question before, no more, Baez has definitely gone over to the dark side, jmo.

This is an American who is accused of causing the death of another American in Aruba. You can't compare this to NH. Natalie was an American who was last seen with JVDS who happened to be Dutch in a country that has a strong political influence from the Dutch. To say they are pressured because of Natalie is all wrong.

JB thinks he can use the same tactics for Aruba that he has used here and it will not work down there. They don't care who he "thinks" he is. He has no influence and if he does not keep his trap closed he will just further damage the case for his so-called "client".

Well, we will see what they have if the Grand Jury comes back with a decision tomorrow. jmo

-respectfully snipped by me.

I do not consider him good looking either, but not that bad looking that any relationship between him and Robyn would be completely incomprehensible.

Because you now have to pay for your luggage many travelers pack light and get as much as they can into a carryon bag. With the wind down there she could have washed it out at night and hung it over chair on her balcony and it would dry within a couple of hours. Plus it looks like a beach dress which you can wear all week down there if you wanted to. I don't but I have seen some wear wraps all week. You don't have them on all day. jmo
