Woman reported missing in Chisago County

"The department received a call from Jelinek's family on Sunday afternoon and went on a welfare check to a residence in Chisago Lake Township where she was last seen."

"Duncan says deputies found personal items belonging to Jelinek inside the residence and arrested a man there for drug possession. The sheriff did not confirm whether that man is a suspect in Jelinek's disappearance."

I am confused as to where exactly she is missing from. The article comes from Chisago City, which is in Chisago Lakes Twp. However, the article also states that she is "an Oakdale woman." Oakdale is a suburb east of St Paul. Chisago City is about 40 miles north of Oakdale.

I am gathering that she may have been visiting someone in Chisago City, but who and what is this person's relationship to Danielle?

Update: Sheriff's Deputies, Other Agencies Search for Missing Oakdale Woman
The Chisago County Sheriff's Office is searching for Danielle Jelinek of Oakdale who has not been seen or heard of since Saturday.

""A bunch of people talked with her Saturday and then her family started calling on Sunday and she didn't pick up, which wasn't like her at all," Nieman said.

Nieman said there was no indication that anything was wrong Saturday night when people spoke with Jelinek."

"The family contacted the Chisago County Sheriff's Office around 2 p.m. Sunday to go to the residence to check on Jelinek. When deputies arrived they saw Jelinek's car and found a man there who was uncooperative in answering questions about Jelinek, said Sheriff Rick Duncan."

"Everything's been normal. She's not the type of person to be missing," said Sara Rubbelke, Jelinek's cousin. Rubbelke didn't know why her cousin, a manager at the Wells Fargo branch in Maplewood, was at her ex-boyfriend's home. "He wanted to be with her, but she didn't really want to be with him," she said.

Do we know if she told anyone about going to the ex's house? I'm assuming she did if they knew to go visit him and found her stuff there, but I haven't seen anything yet in the articles. I wonder what her reasons were for going.

Ground search in Chisago for missing Cottage Grove woman

"Jelinek was last seen Saturday afternoon in the area of Lofton Avenue and 261st Street in Chisago. She is not believed to have her car or any of her personal items."

"Family members held a press conference on Wednesday to say it is very unusual for Jelinek to be out of contact, since she usually speaks with them every day. They also add that she suffers from asthma and needs to take her medication daily."

"Aaron Schnagl, who is currently jailed on unrelated drug charges, was the last person who reported seeing Jelinek. He is not considered a suspect at this time; however, investigators say he is not cooperating with them."
