Is to throw herself at some man and make him help her. I have always had the feeling she went to Gus Searcy's motorhome in Las Vegas. When he said she called him right away, well, I think she showed up on June 4th and cleaned up at his place. Then she maybe called him on June 5th to thank him.... for helping her clean up and get rid of evidence.

He certainly fills the bill as LE's over-interested witness who thrusts himself so helpfully right away. Searcy reminds me of old has-been Willie Loman in "Death of A Salesman."

That dufus puts himself out there with his "I'm important" campaign and everybody shakes their head and looks elsewhere. I wonder if they've searched his motorhome? Does anybody know?

She could have dropped off an accomplice at Gus's house--that's another possibility. I'm going to deal with that in another post.

I still feel MM has turned state. I just wonder what he has to say. Any hunting knives or tarps or anything suspicious missing after her visit, anything unusual she borrowed from him? Did she say she was going to Mesa? There is info there, no doubt.

Well ... there's all of that and the "magazine" cryptic messages that she tried to have smuggled to him. So that would be witness tampering .. or something like that (conspiracy?). I'm sure they have a LOT on him and he's in some kind of witness protection program until they pull him into court.

If that's the case (that he testifies), she is TOAST ... :great:

Its not unusual that she would make up a female intruder. Det. Flores showed her a picture and told Jodi that was her foot. Her pants leg. She said it was not. She had time to go over the things Det. Flores had said and the pictures he showed her. Im sure she remember Det.Flores telling her ITS OVER. The day after she was arrested she came up with the intruder story. One of the intruders had to be a female because of the womans pant leg. She started the story off by saying she had seen the Sopranos. Utter nonsense. She was never in a fog. She knows where the gun is. That gun is her grandfathers.

There were two knives found in a box of books JA had in her car. Have those knives been ruled out as being one of the weapons JA used?

This whole case, like the CA case, makes my head "swim". I find myself laying awake at night trying to figure out different scenarios. I know we will probably never know the whole truth. It's just so sad and it makes me so angry.

I live in Redding, CA and our newspaper did an extensive article a couple of weeks ago on the case. No one in the town of Yreka would talk about the case or about her. Interesting. I don't think she was very popular.

She also needed 2 weapons to make it appear like there was 2 people.

I believe it was revenge and she intended to get away with it.

I wonder who else was on her "hit list"? She reminds me like a female version of Ted Bundy.

I'm with you all the way - In my opinion, she killed the family dog "Doggie Boy" because she really is evil and wasn't getting her way in life and didn't get the attention she felt she deserved. She indeed wanted revenge.

Well ... ya know, it's possible. But she could never admit that because, then it would definitely prove premeditated 1st degree murder and then she would have absolutely NO defense. Never know ....:kimsterwink: :what:

I don't think there was anyone else there at the time she slaughtered him. This was all her doing, imo.

I have thought that from the beginning and have never wavered on that -- so ITA, katydid.

I do think the first blow or two she struck poor unsuspecting TA was/were pretty severe. Somehow he was able to get to the sink, but he was, from the beginning, no threat to her WRT defending himself. That's why, IMO, things did go pretty fast as the pic times tell us.

I think she inflicted the chest wounds first, and he was in big trouble from the get-go. Many of the rest of the wounds (except for his worst-I-have-ever-seen throat wound) were just rage and "That'll show you" type wounds. Her plans with him fell through, he rejected her, no Cancun trip, he wanted to marry that dayam Mimi, he had it good & still sent her walking & he called her names, etc., etc. But she must have made him fairly weak & near-helpless from the start.

My husband and I cannot even stand the sight of her - She is evil. I find myself late at night thinking about this also. It is so odd that NOBODY from her family is on the defense witness list. It's my belief that she was a horror to her family members and Travis and his family members.....The Lord will Forever Protect Travis Now.....

According to Flores, yes... something like six more photos of them actually having sex. There are more photos of them than the ones that have been shown in court or publically. Since both sides agree that they had sex before she killed him, only the few naked pictures on his bed were necessary to show that. If JM wanted them all in as evidence, Nurmi would have surely had them excluded since they weren't necessary and probably considered too pornographic. I can see the judge and even JM willing to allow them to be kept out... BOTH sides agree that they had sex before Jodi killed him, so just the naked photos are sufficient. I can also see both sides thinking that they could be prejudicial to either Jodi or Travis and be happy to keep them excluded.

Apparently they were hand picked as the ones both sides would agree to show the jury. I am sure if there were any question about whether or not sex actually occurred, the prosecution would not have agreed.

That being the case, then it seems more likely that a rope was involved, perhaps not in the way Arias described, but it was their last fantasy mentioned on the phone.

I'm cracking up here! I guess I'm not the only one that goes to bed at night, trying to make sense of so much of no sense stuff.
I think of different scenarios, but I just can't wrap my mind around it.
We don't think like she does, maybe that's why we can't make sense of it.

It's my opinion that she FIRST struck him in the chest with the knife knowing that would weaken him - She was stunned that he was able to get to the sink (see the blood spatter)...She continued to stab him in the back while he was spewing blood. As strong as he was, he tried and crawled down the hallway - Little murderer decided she was going to end it there so she slit his throat from ear-to-ear. (Could be the little sadistic murderer let him suffer some more while dragging him, and waited to slit his throat from ear-to-ear). Then the little murderer drug him back to the shower and stuffed him in there and ran water over him.

Does MM live in Seattle? Jodi said she and travis were suppose to go to Crater Lake together. Crater Lake is a National Park in Oregon. I believe that there is also a lake in Washington state called Crater Lake.

I've been watching the unedited interrogation tapes off and on all weekend. I used to feel a bit of humanity for her. Not sympathy... humanity. Not anymore.

I cannot fathom why Travis had to DIE! WHY?
