CA CA - Arianna Fitts, 2, San Francisco, 1 April 2016 *mother found dead*

Awhile back KTVU reporter Tara Moriarty was doing some serious digging into the case. As a local, I haven't seen anything in quite awhile from her, the SFPD, or any other news outlet. I would love it if Tara would give us an update - very impressive reporting! Someday I am going to create a non-profit that focuses on helping families with missing family members! I can only try to imagine what they are and have gone through.

these ppl were from like 7 hours away from here and the border is 9. anything is possible, but the couple was so broke they lost their 1 bedroom apt and were walking into Mexico so idk that they would have come all the way up here if there are millions of babies to steal in so cal.

The story says that a woman on a buy/sell/trade site decided not to meet up with her because she suddenly got the impression that the woman was trying to take her child. Do we know if Arianna's mother used this website?

A few new details (SFist, May 19) here, including photographs of three persons named and described as "not cooperating with police":

The comments are interesting in this old posting by Tara of KTVU.

(Ignore this line) I tried to figure out which grove of trees feet away from a park has ivy around it, and I think it's the little one right on the road on Moscow St.

It would be brazen, but either of the parks is right on the road, so someone had to have parked at the road and carried Nicole's body to the grave site. I wonder if any cars were captured on surveillance from the fire department down the street.

We know there was a piece of plywood with spray paint on it. I wonder if there's a pic of it anywhere, so we can somehow link it to the area it was taken from.

ETA: Another poster said Nicole was found at University/Woolley, except I couldn't find the nearby soccer fields.

This is just awful. The poor baby could have been sold to a pedophile ring or anything.

This is so sad. I think the "babysitter," was neglectful, or something that lead to an accidental death. I think she was trying to avoid mom, and make excuses for why she could not see her child. I think there was a confrontation, and they killed her.

I would wonder if this pastor convinced Nicole he could give her daughter a better life whilst she got back on her feet. He may have preyed on a vulnerable woman to gain access to a young child.

Whatever happened, Nicole didn't stop trying to get her baby back, and she lost her life for it. Rest in peace, Nicole Fitts.

For whatever reason the SFPD has not given any updates on this case. Tara from KTVU is relentless and I don't think she has forgotten about Arianna - she is an awesome investigative jouranalist! I do not know Arianna or anyone related to this case but think about her every week, at least. I only wish I had more time to help besides posting here. Someday.... I hate to think she has been forgotten about. I am local, and have not forgotten! How does this happen!

Um, may be random or may be helpful but I am almost 100% certain that is graffiti of Fin from 'Adventure Time' on Cartoon Network...
