LI has a heroin problem. Amber did not have to travel to NYC for a fix. Guess Dave said that so his connection on the Island doesnt get nervous. He was talking to cops and media.

Living on Long Island and knowing enough drug users over the years, I find this to be the more likely explanation.

There's a cost to travelling that much every day that would make the pricing ultimately not worth it. Not to mention the danger of traveling that much with hard drugs every day. Not that a lot of these people are in tip top state of mind to be making totally rational decisions. Otherwise they wouldn't be copping in the first place.

Well often the price in NYC is far cheaper than the price out in Long Island. We are talking I know people that pay 2-4 times the price out in Long Island. So the price of a ticket to come back and fourth is easily absorbed.

I'm not super in tuned to the market for heroin but I just never known anyone who made trips like these. They've always had some one and usually more than one, local.

I know the difference in market prices for pot in Nassau/Suffolk vs city are marginal at best and absolutely not worth making a city trip especially when you factor in risk and time.

Amber and her boyfriend Brodsky did go to the city everyday because Brodsky had to get his daily dose of methadone from the clinic and they would cop afterwards around Tompkins. I think this is in Lost Girls. But I'm not sure how they got there and that is a good question

Amber lived three blocks north of me. You can walk to the Babylon train station or ride the bus.

Hi Dottie maybe you could refrain from telling other people where and what they should "waste" their resources on and stay in your lane then.

I'd talk about it if it were in my neighborhood, as would my neighbors. I guess we don't find it embarrassing. Probably tragic, and we'd want the case solved and justice for the victim. Fact of the matter is, Shannan's missing posters *on my block* were what made me so invested in this case from the first few days, before I even knew the full circumstances, just that she'd been an escort. Like, what is there to be embarrassed about?

I just saw this and had to post it.. for those familiar with tattoos and their meanings, whats the meaning of a red eye with a red tear drop?

I just saw a video on youtube titled, “exploring the abandoned kings park psychiatric center” published 10/12/2016.. at the 17:57 min marker, these explorers are exploring an abanoned power plant on the site in kings park. They come across a wall and theres graffiti on the wall that says, AMBER LYNN with a red eye and red teardrop next to it.. couldnt believe i saw this! I dont know if its anything significant cause theres so much graffiti in these buildings, but the whole red eye and red tear drop got me wondering.. plus the recent talk here of a potential poi having connections to kings park.. ill post an image of the still of the video below. Could it be the same amber lynn?
