Thanks for that info! My goof - it should have said I have NO access to Bell County site.
Just tag me if you hear anything more! TIA! :)
Now I'll have to figure "which" case I tagged you on...
Hey Niner, here’s a press release from the DOJ.

Killeen Woman Faces Federal Charge in Connection with the Disappearance of U.S. Army Specialist Vanessa Guillen

She remains in custody at this time awaiting her Initial Appearance in federal court in Waco. The hearing is expected to take place early next week.

Still get found bc all the CSI & Dexter episodes you binged didn’t work out.

Amen! You have nailed it on the head! Everything about this case stunk from the beginning. Then we get fools with a capital F that think they’ve ‘got away with murder’ because well ‘Dexter’ did and he’s the authority right (sarcasm). I wonder what went through his head, besides that bullet, when he knew the gig was up and this is TX and old sparky is always ready for guys that try to be ‘Dexter’ but don’t realize TV isn’t real life. Coward.

These are my opinions only of course.

They could have benefited from feeling the loss, showing compassion for the family and demonstrating to all a burning thirst for justice for one of their own, a PFC egregiously killed while on duty.
You can't teach empathy so I think the best the professionals can do here is teach them how to mimic showing compassion for the victim and her family, and thirst for justice too. I'm still SMH over the presser. o_O

They can complain all they want about SM, but Vanessa G. would still be just an AWOL to them like Wedel-Morales without the family's pressure.
SM is people, millions of people seeing a gross injustice, hearing the family pleas for help.
"SM" meaning a lot of people picked up the case and brought massive attention to bear.
And Tim Miller heard them.

They don't seem to think the allegations of sexual harassment are connected, either. Didn't Vanessa's mother say her daughter told her that other woman had complained about Robinson, too? Are they still afraid to talk?

I'm pretty sure she said Vanessa had told others, as well. Someone must know something about it. I think the soldier killed in the car accident had a story to tell.

And what about Aguilar's ex-husband being shot at? Were they really divorced? There seem to be alot of strange things going on at that base.
I’m trying to find the name of the soldier killed in the car accident - anyone know ?
At least one reporter is questioning safety at Ft Hood
Is Fort Hood a safe place for soldiers?

Retired Master Seargent Brown believes heads should roll over Guillien's murder.

"Everybody that was involved in this, from her squad leader to platoon sergeant to her section sergeant to her first sergeant, her commander, all of them. There's something you did not do," said Brown.

Maybe so, but it will take an investigation by the military to find that out.

This was posted prior to the presser - I’m curious what the reporter thinks now

The news articles are confusing. Some state she was a former soldier and other that she was stationed at Fort Hood. And according to some SM this person never met VG in person.

I don't know if it can be posted here?

More questions surrounding Guillen’s case have surfaced, since Krysta Martinez—a fellow soldier who started the #IAmVanessaGuillen and #FindVanessa movements and pushed for answers in the search for Guillen—died in a car crash in June.

I haven’t seen this before - I’d like us find additional sources that she started the above hashtags - appreciate the help

MOO He almost did get away with it. A lot of effort and consent pressure then couple of things broke VGs way so she could get home.

Thank you

If that occurred in a locker room, then it sounds to me like it was a female in that instance. The family may have heard this story and assumed it was a male.
According to the attorney it was a male, he was her superior and he was someone she worked with. I think she was referring to Robinson since she later identified him as the same man. She did the interview soon after the meeting with the family and CID.

It can be found on page 11. She stated that he walked in and sat down while she was showering. She told him she felt uncomfortable and asked him to leave. It was in a locker room or similar setting.

When asked if this person was being investigated, she said the army would not tell her but they "should" be investigating him. She said that he was not someone she had been having a relationship with as she had a boyfriend and they were together for four years. She suggested that he may have been interested in her but she rejected his advances.

She also said that during their interview with investigators, they claimed that they called Vanessa's sister, Maira, to inform her that Vanessa was missing. She said this was not true and it was the other way around. It was the sister who called the Army to notify them that Vanessa was missing.

In the affidavit it indicates that the army reported her missing on 4/23, the day after she went missing. This was apparently reported by her unit to a Superior who notified CID.

Her sister was at the base looking for her on 4/22. This may be when they claimed Vanessa was accounted for at 3:00 pm. By then Robinsin had already cleaned up the crime scene.

Imo

As much as I respect the military, I'm going to take to Miller's word over theirs at this point. CID is not doing their job correctly with regard to this case. There is something rotten going on at Fort Hood and I think there needs to be an independent investigation. JMO.
Many of us here noticed right away that something wasn’t right from the get go. TM has way more credibility though. So maybe more will start focusing on the real questions, rather than being upset over LE not having support. I, for one, support our Mil and LE. But Fort Hood is something else. Something is going on, and I think this base is going to start being exposed. Those poor soldiers are probably so terrified. I hope this independent investigation goes on, and it sheds light on why there is so much criminal activity there. Praying for our soldiers there, and VG’s family. I can’t imagine what the morale is at that base, and what the family is feeling. We need justice, and we need this family to have answers. Having his dead body isn’t good enough(for me). Why did the system fail her?

This is citing other reporting, and appears to be a major error. The AA talks about her allegedly threatening to report him over an affair, and him becoming enraged and killing her.

There are no other reports that she was going to report him for sexual harassment.
Vanessa's mother did claim that she was going to report him. She said she offered to report him to the Army herself, but Vanessa told her she was going to do it and she would take care if it.

I think Aguilar made that story up about her reporting the affair. She probably knew it was true that he made advances towards her and she was jealous. Judging from some of her SM posts she seems vindictive and has a dark side. She compared herself to Targaryen, the symbol for the three headed fire breathing dragon representing fire and blood. This was a few weeks after Vanessa had been murdered and burned.

She also posted, "He revealed his dark side to her and she said black is her favorite color," or something like that. This was just days after she went missing.

She made other references to rising from the ashes and other disturbing posts.

I don't remember which article it was from but it was posted soon after her name was revealed. Her only "friend" on her SM was Robinson.
