Admin note:
Websleuths operates differently than other sites. It may be difficult to understand our rules in the beginning but when you have been here awhile you begin to appreciate the reasoning behind the rules. Primarily, we respect the integrity of a case by keeping out rumors and we also uphold protecting the innocent and peripheral players in a case.

New members need to read the following terms of service in their entirety. Members are responsible for knowing our rules and posting accordingly.

Rules - Etiquette & Information

Please be mindful of the following:
* We do not sleuth people who have not been named by LE as suspects or POI's.

* We do not link to social networking pages of people who have not been named by LE as suspects/POI.

* We never post the name of a private individual, minor or adult, who has not been named in the media.

* Questions about the rules or moderation should be addressed to a mod in a private message called a conversation. DO NOT discuss them in the thread.

* If you see a post that violates TOS, do not reply as it will cause a huge clean up for mods. Alert the post so a mod can look at the post.

* If you quote a post which later is removed by a mod, your post is subject to removal, as well.

I'm in the same boat as a lot of the other members on this thread; Libby brought me to WS and I'm feeling incredibly anxious. I can't believe it's been 2 years since I visited her bench in Hull. I've never felt this emotionally invested in a trial before. Praying that Libby's family have all the support that they need right now to get through these next few weeks. I hope it brings them some comfort to know that so many of us strangers are here again, 2 years later, remembering their Libby and hoping for justice. <3

Am wondering if they are going to try and start later today - ie; prosecution opening.
Usually as we know, day one is just Jury selection, but with the Covid restrictions the Court/Judge might want to try and move further along if possible. The fact that Libby's family are present makes me think this might happen.

The court room is waiting for Relowicz to arrive
Documents are being laid out for the jury, who will arrive shortly. There is a quiet chatter between barristers as they prepare themselves for the trial, which is taking place almost two years after Libby's death. Libby's mum and dad are speaking with their accompanying family liaison officer. It's a day no parent could bear to imagine.

Relowicz has arrived
The defendant is now in the dock, flanked by three officers. He is wearing a navy blue suit, white shirt and navy blue tie. He is wearing is glasses and a grey face mask. He has confirmed is name to the judge, but it is difficult to gauge any emotion.

A polish interpreter will speak with him through an ear piece. The court has been told Relowicz can follow English well but the interpreter may be needed for legal terms.

I shall be relying on (and grateful for) our 'mazing and dedicated sleuthers posting the information here :)
Me too! I cannot believe it has been two years and I am looking forward to Libby’s family getting the justice they deserve. I am thinking and praying for her them. This was not my first WS thread but for me it was one that had the greatest locals. The information you all provided was extraordinarily!
