Just caught up on this whole thread water cases really get to me after Chris’ death.

My heart breaks for his family especially his mother - it seems they were incredibly close.

I hope the body is recovered ASAP so the family can lay him to rest.

My theory is that he got into a state of panic when he couldn’t find his way back to the hotel - hence him running and falling in the CCTV clip early on - I believe his state of panic would have risen when he found himself in the homeless area as I could imagine it being very eerie and then he’s either tripped and fallen into the river or he’s in such a state of panic and fear that he’s decided to jump in the river - all MOO of course.

Moo, I wish youngsters would prepare better for nights out. I'm not blaming anyone. *advertiser censored* can happen no matter how much u prepare. What happens if u get separated from your people. Stay put, call someone. Buddy system. This should be for men and women. So many ifs , I have a 19 year old and we can drill them as much as we want, but someone said here, some youngsters don't think of the dangers like we do and feel invincible. My heart aches for his family.

Also, I'm sure police would have watched the footage from each location where he was seen, to check whether anyone/car was following. The footage is remarkably clear.

There are cases where LE have spotted that someone was being followed at a distance.

JMO
Yes, Jesse Matthews was spotted that way (Hannah Graham's killer)

I don't consider Tik Tok a reliable source because they pay for videos based on number of views.

JMO
The two individuals are volunteers who have a TikTok channel and happened upon Riley’s bank card during their search. I'm sure the family and LE are grateful for the volunteers and their discovery. Now the search teams can concentrate on their resources in this particular area.

IMO, I truly believe he was drugged. I know I don't have tell you guys how many cases there are out there right now EXACTLY like this one. College male at a bar, disappears after leaving said bar, found in a body of water days/weeks later. Case in point..Lady Bird Lake Austin, Tx. No, I dont believe in the Smiley Face killer. But I do believe in organized groups...bartender/waitress working in tandem with certain bar patrons to drug and rob single guys. This is happening in wealthy college towns all over America. It just happened to a group of guys from the affluent neighborhood of Buckhead in Ga.

I have never been charged for water by bar employees- and I frequent alot of bars as my wife and I have an unwritten agreement not to keep alcohol in our home.

Some bar employees have even given me a free fountain coke sans charge when I stated that I did not have money for another drink, but was waiting for my wife to get off work.

Employees at another bar I frequent put out a big thermos of free tea in the Texas summer- its not going to win any awards, but its free.

Though bar employees can offer a variety of free courtesies, one thing they cannot do is protect people from themselves.
...According to TC Restaurant Group, Strain was escorted out of Luke Bryan’s bar located in 300 block of the Broadway on Friday, March 8. In a statement, the company, which operates the bar, said records showed the 22-year-old purchased one alcoholic drink and two waters. ‍<shrugs>

The bar’s records show he purchased two waters.

AC and BB had joined the day’s search for Strain and told WSMV they managed to climb down to the riverbank and were sorting through tons of trash when they found Strain’s card.

[...]

“There is so much trash down there it’s so much to sift through and there’s so many pieces of clothing, shoes, bottles, cans, everything. I don’t really know how we found it. I would love to say just dumb luck divine intervention - it was just sitting there,” AC said.

Police have not said what the bank card means for their search. In the meantime, AC and BB will continue theirs.

BREAKING: Uvalde Foundation is joining search for RILEY STRAIN stating “Foundation officials say their volunteers are focusing on the downtown Nashville area as they do not believe current searches along the Cumberland River will produce results.”

This comes as two local women on TikTok found a significant piece of evidence along the riverbank, Riley Strain’s bank card. MNPD replied to Fox 17 News that they had previously searched that area of the riverbank.

The Uvalde Foundation said it assembled a special team of volunteers from its STOPNOW school community patrol teams Nashville, Tennessee chapter, to aid in the search effort.

downtown?
searching for Riley downtown?
If Riley had backtracked to town, surely he would have been caught on surveillance camera.

Well this case is about to gather some more momentum..... Kiely Rodni comes to mind.

ETA: and also Nicola Bulley.

It takes me back to the original statement about his hotel key being found in his room….. was it really?
It’s just some random organization that has nothing to do with law enforcement. It’s not like they know any better than the people who have all the video/digital evidence.

The more the merrier I guess.
