OMG, this made me laugh! A friend of mine and I were talking last week and she was all mad at her husband over something. She said he'd better apologize that night or she'd "Go all Jodi Arias on his AZZ!"

Does that make her a verb, or an adjective?

:floorlaugh:

I probably shouldn't say that.. I heard it somewhere & I was enraged by JVMs repeating the 'Captivity' line over & over.. :please: Don't send her to Cleveland after Phoenix!

My heart goes out to those 3 young women you know the old saying 'You don't really know a man until you've walked in his shoes awhile' well I can't even begin to imagine the horrors, the fear or just the plain uncertainity they've lived with for the past 10 yrs. I think everyone needs to back the heck up & let them have time to become reaquainted with their families, sort out their feelings & begin the healing process..

The one person I'll be thinking about this Sunday will be Amanda.. because for whatever issues I have with Mother's Day I was given the gift to say Goodbye and she was denied that by an evil I can not even wrap my mind around.

Does anybody here experience a creep factor with Keith Morrison?

Maybe it was the SNL skit that planted it, but there is a weird little quiver of delight in his voice when he used to accost those child molesters when they would set them up for a sting!

It reminded me of the current ad for car insurance that has the Dracula guy volunteering at the blood donation drive. To me, and I know I may be alone on this, that's what Keith Morrison sounds like.

And I laughed until tears came at their spoof of him on SNL. Funniest thing I've ever seen!

That is hilarious! SNL has actually been funny this past season!

IIRC the stipulation was that Jodi did not have a weapon in her hand when this photo was taken. Nothing more.

That's right. And in Kiefer's story, he's "reporting" that the photo showed her "vaguely" standing there holding a camera without a gun or knife in her hand.

WTH? That was defense argument but NEVER proven (and honestly a JOKE).

Kiefer is in Switzerland for the verdict (which I found poetic) and he complained constantly about the trial, the "circus" etc (which he perpetuated himself) yet tweeted about being on some obscure Canadian radio program talking about it like this was some big deal. Our canadian poster jayarohh has worked in Canadian TV and radio and had never heard of the show.

Probably has less listeners than Tricia's True Crime radio. Ugh!

How contemperanous of jodie:floorlaugh:

I regret opening my remark how I did. I was not thinking. I hope I did make the point that Jodi the liar did not harm Travis's reputation because the world knows she is a liar and the world knows the true Travis. The world suffered because of his murder by the hands of this evil, vile creature.

They MUST have a defense. It is their Constitutional guarantee. Like it or not, the Constitution must grant the same rights to everyone to not be rendered null and void for everyone.

Pardon me for stepping in here........but that wasn't the question!

The question was that the defense attorney touched the man...for a paycheck...how could she do that?

Every time someone wants to defend a criminal defense attorney wo is sleaze the same excuse pops up..."well, it is their constitutional right for a defense attorney".

Is that the best you can come up with? I mean, really?

I feel so bad for Steven. He looks over at his sisters at about :35, and I feel like he is all alone except for the person sitting behind him. I don't at any point see any of his siblings comforting or hugging him. The sisters have their husbands there, but Steven seems all alone to me.

I think Steven has been the family rock and I would bet he felt he needed to stand alone ...the glance at his sisters said it all to me. He was using everything in him to hold himself together. I have so much admiration for these young people. They have been through so much. Their lives have been forever changed...all because of one monster. JMO

He was soft on her to gain her continued cooperation. It IS the kind of journalistic coup that may well propel him to a larger media market. This is about his career, not her. This is also why he put the interview on the air right away. She demanded it and he complied. Don't want to give up the inside track.

Now, do I wish that Jodi didn't have access to the media? Absolutely. It remains to be seen whether this helps or hurts him.

I'm not faulting him. Just explaining why he was so soft on her...he manipulated her right back I think.

I suspect she picked him because he is SERIOUSLY handsome and comes across as a really nice guy (one she probably thinks she can manipulate somehow).

Hugs chijojo......come here on Mothers Day. We will not ever replace her, but we will give you love and hugs

All WS's will be there for you....

I honestly would not have made it through the first couple of weeks without all of you. You are the ONLY people I had to talk to. I want each of you to know how much I appreciate your kindness. Thank you everyone. I love you!!!:blushing:

What do you think? JA SUICIDAL? Or an attention seeking wierdo?

If convicted murderess JA was placed in a room for 24 hours, all by herself--no cameras, no doctors, no lawyers, no friends ---and she was given a gun, a knife, a length of rope, a bottle of pills or a pencil and paper....which do you think she would use....????

Exactly...

Moo
:cow:

IMO She would use all of them... the knife ..she would use to carve her intials in the wall

the rope she would use to hang the gun from the cieling so she could have a wind chime.

and the bottle of pills ...well we all know where she would prolly stick it.

and the pencil and paper Ita with you.

Estralla on lock up did not seem so cushy to me..Make up shared?? ok seems to me a haven for eye styes...and hairdo's ??? nothing I would think the murderer would like....

I think that was Chris Hansen.

ETA: I hate her for what she is doing. And I never say the H word... :furious:

It would influence my answer to know if there would be any KY available.

Heck if I know, I'm still working on my "nouns"!

(principle vs. principal)

Coming back into Estrella as a convicted felon, she would probably HAVE NOT been allowed to give interviews because of security, etc. because she would be moved from "Un-Sentenced" to "Sentenced" area of Estrella.

Because she was in the basement of the Courthouse, there's that fine line between courthouse security and Sheriffs.

JA probably knew that if she got M1, this would be her only opportunity. She probably asked a LOT of questions BEFORE her original "Deal" with Troy, to find out what the SOP was AFTER the verdict. Transport is such that there is no "Perp Walk" between the court and the holding cell or Jail/Prison transport like other jurisdictions.

I am snickering to myself that a local newsman got in there, instead of the "reporters" from quasi "news" programs I will not name. The timing of the report, I had my questions, but better sooner than later. It won't be there to trivialize or take the attention away from the Alexander's impact statements, or any comments the family may want to give to the media....I hope...fingers crossed.

I don't think Sheriff Joe will be obligated, in anyway, to allow JA any interviews through the rest of the court process, and after that, she should be going to an evaluation center before her transport to Perryville, unless they're killing 2 birds with one stone, with her current "Suicide Protocol". (Lower Buckeye Jail used to do the evaluations, but I don't know what their current operations consist of.) I don't believe interviews are allowed during the evaluation process, which usually takes a month. (But that could be by-passed because of DR)

Would like KCL's opinion on this: I think at this point, the Alexanders may have seen this as just "another Jodie" and ignored it.

I think if I was one of Travis' siblings, I would know that anything I said in the VIS would NOT effect the convicted on a human level, but I would want it documented in the court records. For some reason, I think JA will try to continue doodling while the VIS's are being read. I don't think anything could be said, that would break her delusional state.

Kind of ironic that she'd make the motion for video taped VIS as to not prejudice the jury, when she directly goes out and has a video taped interview directly after her guilty verdict....how prejudicial is that? I don't think that the jurors would take her words very kindly.

Ok it's Friday and I'm 100% sober and I've read this about 3 times and I have no idea what my opinion is supposed to be on. Let me go pour a glass of wine and try it again. :blushing:

http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/201...jodi-arias-guilty-of-first-degree-murder?lite

Snippet:

"At the conclusion of this interview and in light of some of her statements during the interview, Arias was brought to jail and per Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, was placed on suicide protocol," a statement from the sheriff's office read. "Until she is released from suicide protocol by Sheriff’s officials, no further media interviews of inmate Arias will be permitted."

I'm not going in to all of it publicly as he vented to me twice about it. But his feelings are clear and venomous I will tell you that. And he turned some of it on me as well which is the only reason I'm speaking publicly about it at all. After those crappy remarks he made about me to my face, I'm done with him after 20 years of friendship. I was holding on to it for dear life but he threw down a hammer and I walked away.

He basically told me my life was in ruins as evidenced by the fact I was attending the trial, that I was a "completely different person" from the one he once knew and that was not a compliment. He's anti DP so I'm telling you, DP opponents turn on murder victims' families eventually, considering them the "enemy" and judging us for having the audacity to hold these murderers accountable. Like the entire death penalty is our fault. And he's jumped the shark right in to that place.

I cut the cord that day and could say a whole lot more of what I know of how far gone he is in terms of bias but I don't really want to give it any more energy. I guess I got stirred up today reading his article claiming yet ANOTHER BS inaccuracy as fact.

I will say this, Kiefer is the one who EMBELLISHED in a story saying Juan was walking out of court daily to throngs of media and "fans" when in reality he walked out that door a total of ONE time during the entire trial for about 10 min and was asked to give some autographs and photo ops. That was IT. He also claimed Nurmi and co had to leave a side door with security which is a BALD FACED LIE. I walked out the front door with that DT many many days and they waltzed, unescorted right past the media trucks to their cars.

It's disturbing to me to read these bald faced LIES reported as fact.

Oh and Kiefer was one of the few media I went up to (before I realized how far he'd gone with his bias) reporting the ALV approach on Sam thing and he sneered at me "what do you want me to do, have her arrested?" and of course NEVER reported on it yet caused a lot of trouble talking to her "friend" about her "ER visit". He was totally sympathetic to her. Ugh, it all makes me ill. I know way more but gonna stop myself now.

wow. you are a god given angel to the alexander family and victims in general. it must be hard to lose a friend after so long, but that is his loss. bless you Katie!

I feel like I stepped in to some kind of heated debate about Troy Hayden. I like him, I understand why he interviewed her. I didn't like hearing him say she had some kind of mental problems on another interview (of him) but I don't know exactly what he meant by that.

I heard her phone message to him about keeping her word. I know she's full of (#&#! and she wanted that interview as much as he did (if not more). If any of it can be used against her, fine. She's getting ready to disappear very very soon. Just like the rest of the zoo animals on death row (no disrespect to zoo animals who actually ARE victims but that's another debate).

Every single word out of her mouth is manipulation . I've never seen anything like it.

Although she's now been convicted, I just can't help but feeling especially sad about this situation. Travis is dead. He never had the chance to do the things he wanted, get married, have a family, etc. I wish I didn't know who Travis or Jodi was; because I wish this never happened.

I'm not against the DP. I know this will not be a popular opinion, but I'm actually finding myself feeling somewhat sorry for Jodi. She's a disgusting monster. A hideous person. But I feel a tinge of sadness that a 32 year old is facing the death penalty. Why couldn't Jodi get help for her problems? Why couldn't she have just moved on from Travis?

She deserves the DP, no doubt. If someone says otherwise, I urge them to view the pictures of Travis' injuries. I'll snap out of this, I know. I'm just feeling sad over this situation.

Yeah, and that stipulation inferred or stated that she was standing.....and JA insisted she was crouching....remember? TA stepped out of the shower and picked her up from a crouched position to body slam her. And then Nurmi comes back later with the standing reflection in TA's eye. Hmmmm.....
