GUILTY Australia - Carly McBride, 31, murdered, Muswellbrook, NSW, 30 Sept 2014 *Trial in 2021*

I wonder why Carly was walking over 2km to McDonalds to meet a friend, after her visitation. What happened to her ride? Was he hanging around somewhere waiting to take her home again, or did she have to find some other way to make the 1½ hour journey back home again?

Did he just do a 3-hour round trip journey to drop her off? Didn't wait close by for her visitation to be over and pick her up again?

I'm not understanding why she was walking so far.

And where is her phone? At what point did it stop working/searching for a signal? When was it last used?

They are not releasing very much info, are they?

I see on the Help Find Carly McBride FB page that a small group of people were back in Muswellbrook over the weekend, handing out flyers and putting up posters. They say that police are being very tight-lipped about everything.

CARLY McBride’s partner says he dropped her off to see her daughter and never saw her again.

The father of her daughter says Ms McBride walked out of his Muswellbrook home to go to McDonald’s and that was the last he saw of her.

And police will say only that they are ‘‘keeping an open mind’’ into what may have happened to the mother of two.

It appears the only certainty in the mystery of what happened to Carly McBride is that six weeks ago she vanished without a trace and hasn’t been heard of since.

Her partner of three months, Sayle Newson, told the Newcastle Herald he feared the worst. ‘‘I believe she is dead, but I need the truth,’’ Mr Newson said.

So if SN was meant to return to the house to pick her up
A) what was he doing while waiting for Carly
B)why did she leave to walk to McDonald's

Hope this isn't Carly:

Wow! I actually saw that update this morning and didn't put two and two together. But it makes sense. However, I found another article that makes it sound like it's not Carly. (It still could be, but the clothing and short time frame make it seem a bit unlikely).

He said the woman had long, brown-blonde hair and was found in colourful satin boxer shorts and a blue shirt.
“I’d ask if anyone has information on who that person might be or her movements that they contact police,” he said.
The woman’s body displayed multiple injuries but Insp Gallagher would not say whether a weapon was involved in her death.

He said police had been given a lead about the woman’s possible identity but nothing had been confirmed.
However, it appeared the body had been in the reserve for only a short time before being discovered.
Anyone with information is urged to call Crimestoppers.

AGED care worker Renee Mitchell was cooking for her family when she was allegedly taken from her own kitchen and brutally attacked before her body was left in a park less than a kilometre from the family home.

Her frantic family suspected something was wrong when she suddenly vanished and failed to return for work.

They searched the streets throughout Windale for several hours on Tuesday night and reported her missing to police before a bushwalker stumbled across her body early on Wednesday.

"drsleuth": I'm trying to pull up map...Windale and Muswellbrook in close proximity? Both women worked at nursing centers, yes?

The boyfriend is doing a bit of finger pointing on the Facebook page now.

For some reason he is now asking people to message him over Facebook if they 'herd' any screaming that day. I'd like to know where the investigation is at.
