Thanx for the advice SouthAus, we know the building, the floor and the approx rental a unit of that type goes for. I was wondering if he didn't have a job then possibly he wasn't there, or who else might have been. Just wondering if something untoward was happening in that unit that night. That's all.

<modsnip>

Sorry TGY .. just reminding us all .. as we are all chomping at the bit (well, I am :floorlaugh: ).

<modsnip>

And for sure there will be loads of CCTV .. it's all over the place at Surfers .. as well as in the Avalon, outside the Avalon, inside the lifts probably. Just need to give police the time to go through it all, and coordinate a time line. :waiting:

Plus all the tips to Crimestoppers.

Highly doubtful that Warriena suicided herself imo. She was on holiday, having a great time by all accounts. MSM reported that her good friend said they were up on the skydeck of the tallest building on the Gold Coast looking out at the view a day or two prior, hanging out at the beach, visiting the zoo ....

This was not suicide IMO.

The biggest giveaway to me is that SO many residents heard fighting - apparently INSIDE the apartment - and then they heard her screams from the balcony. That is not the scenario of a suicide..........

It says here that he was the "manager" of the forgery scam:

The talented artist was only a teen when he came to police attention in 2004, found to be the mastermind of a sophisticated fake 18+ ID racket that earned him and two mates $30,000.

But it was a reproduction of a $50 note found on his computer that shocked police. Mr Tostee was said to have “exceptional skills” in art and had been meticulous in ensuring the fake IDs were of a high quality.

He pleaded guilty to forgery, possessing an instrument for making counterfeit money and beginning to make counterfeit money. Mr Tostee was given a good behaviour bond for his role as manager of the “business”.

Guys a reminder the same rules apply across the board.

To date there is no suspect or POI named by police. Don't allude to him as such. And he is not sleuthable.

Please discuss only what is known to us via MSM

Here is one witness who may be very helpful to police.

Mr Tostee, 28, was gone when police arrived at the Avalon apartment building in Surfers Paradise early Friday morning, minutes after a witness called to say she had seen a woman fall 14 floors to her death.

And maybe the same witness saw this too .. or maybe it is someone else who saw this ...

She was seen drinking and talking with him on his balcony before neighbours reported a disturbance.

And then there is this witness, who may have seen if anything happened immediately after the incident ...

..... with one person claiming to have heard a loud scream followed by a bang while waiting at a bus stop around the time the woman fell.

I think there will be a lot of witnesses .. certainly enough for police to piece together the most likely scenario, and maybe even exactly what happened.

I think other young women who have visited the apartment after connecting via tinder may also come forward and shed light on exactly what might have happened.

I would presume that because Mr Tostee remains the focus of the investigation it would be the same as being named POI? Can I have a verdict please Marly?

Mr Tostee has engaged a lawyer and remains the focus of an intensive investigation.

At the moment it's a no go thanks sleepinoz but I will check with Admin to see if we'll allow it. The media, not police, is stating he remains the focus of the investigation.

We now probably know where he went for those hours afterwards.

DETECTIVES have seized CCTV footage from the Carrara home of Gable Tostee’s parents as their investigation into the death of Warriena Tagpuno Wright continues ... It is understood the footage is being used to piece together where Mr Tostee was in the hours before and after Ms Wright, 26, plunged 14 storeys to her death from the balcony of his Surfers Paradise unit at about 2.20am on Friday.

Mr Tostee spent hours with police and his solicitor on Friday but refused to comment. It has been revealed that Mr Tostee has been banned by at least two Surfers Paradise nightclubs.

Here's another pic of Warriena. Blessings to her.

I wonder why he was banned from two Surfers Paradise nightclubs??!! What would lead to that happening??

I feel confident that Qld Police can solve this one:

Acting Chief Superintendent Des Lacy said police were working around the clock to piece together what had happened.

“Police have cast the net wide and are gathering evidence of everything they can,” he said.

“They are also relying on information from the public who may have seen or heard something that could help.”

I notice in this article about violent drunks in Qld, Surfers Paradise has a red card scheme - which aims to stamp out people who 'coward punch', and other drug and alcohol fuelled violence. This can probably include people who supply drugs in those venues, and thereby add to the risks. I think they can also ban known bikies now, under their tough bikie laws - which doesn't seem to be the case here.

Under the red card scheme run by local liquor accords, a drinker can be banned for three months for repeat fighting offences.

Some are banned for life if they maim or kill.
