Rogers says she was concerned she did not want to leave any fragments. She vacuumed the entire incinerator.

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 28s28 seconds ago
Fragments and ash in crevices of Eliminator. She had @HamiltonPolice purchase brand new canister-style vacuum. "For family's peace of mind."

No words. That poor family.

Feb 18 2016 12:06 PM
"There are a lot of remains that are not there," Rogers says, reminding the jury that bones don't "just disappear." "There should have been a complete body there basically, but there wasn't. This is what was left. So obviously, it had been cleaned out at some point."
Adam Carter

***And there you go. How dare they sit there with his widow and parents in that room knowing where the rest of Tim is.

Because they're evil? There really is no other explanation.

Feb 18 2016 12:09 PM
At the end, Rogers vacuumed out the incinerator with brand new vacuum to get any remaining small pieces. "I thought it was important for the family's peace of mind that they had all the remains back," Rogers says.

No cross examination from either Millard or Smich's lawyers. Rogers is excused.

Rogers voice cracks, "I thought it was important for the family's peace of mind that they had all the remains back" #Bosma

The doctor seemed to get emotional there. She got a new vacuum & made sure no remains left behind. She was thinking of family peace of mind

"I thought it was important for family's peace of mind that they had all of the remains" Rogers says. Voice wavers, she apologizes. #Bosma

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 54s54 seconds ago
No cross examination of Dr. Rogers.

Pillay and Dungey probably couldn't wait for her to get off the stand.

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 51s52 seconds ago
Said it was odd he didn't get diesel. He planned to tow trailer to Baha for desert race. Dellen said diesel was hard to get.

He did some work for them years ago - including building a helicopter pad for Dellen Millard.
Adam Carter

When the work was done, Wayne Millard paid him with a car, an '82 Chrysler Imperial.
Adam Carter

Feb 18 2016 12:15 PM

Adam Carter

Feb 18 2016 12:15 PM
It was a gas hemi engine. "I said why wouldn't you have picked up the diesel engine? It would have been more powerful and better on fuel."
Adam Carter

Feb 18 2016 12:16 PM
Millard said he was planning to use the truck to drag a trailer down to Baha [Baja], he says Millard responded because "Diesel was hard to get." He took that to mean diesel fuel.
Adam Carter

Baha is in Mexico.
Adam Carter

Feb 18 2016 12:17 PM

Adam Carter

Feb 18 2016 12:17 PM
Fox says he never talked about whether or not Millard went to race in Baha or not.

Feb 18 2016 12:18 PM

OMG...seriously crying right now. Imagine Hank Bosma comforting the forensic pathologist who tried to get as many as his sons remains as possible. I can't even.

Comforting and thanking her. That may have been the first time they heard those words uttered. Amazing to see how different people are on this planet. On one hand you have people that can kill someone and incinerate their body, and on the other hand you have a person that wants to ensure every last fiber of the remains of a loved one are returned to the family. Simply incredible.

I wonder if LE recovered the rest of Tim's remains later and we just didn't hear about it? Maybe when they were using the GPR at the farm?

There was a "high concentration of material" found in one part of the grid on that burn site. In addition to the seatbelt, there were grommets, burned wood, springs, a plastic bottle and glass. Some coins, too.

Coins sounds like out of a man's pants pockets since a lot of them keep change in them :(

Pillay says he needs a ten minute break to talk to Millard before cross examining. Back in 10. #Hamont #TimBosma #Bosma

Anybody know what happens in this case? The jury is led out, I think. But then do Pillay and Millard confer in another room?
