Spatter lower front interior of driver door, above pocket...Now rear drivers' side door.

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 37s37 seconds ago
Jones says once blood dries "it takes some effort" to clean it. #Bosma

Adam Carter
Mar 7 2016 10:40 AM
"When you're cleaning up blood, it's not as easy as it might look. Once the blood dries ... it takes some effort to get it off," Jones says.

Mar 7 2016 10:43 AM
Now we're looking at a small spatter stain on the bottom metal on the rear driver'd side door.

Mar 7 2016 10:44 AM
A piece from the upper interior passenger side front door has been removed, Jones says.

Mar 7 2016 10:45 AM
There are two "altered stains" on that plate.

Mar 7 2016 10:46 AM
An expert from the Centre for Forensic Sciences testified that the two spots found on that piece may have contained tissue. Jones says it could have been that, or clotted blood.

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 49s49 seconds ago
Edges of stain are usually darker. If diluted by water, lighter. #Bosma

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 1m1 minute ago
Passenger side door. One spot looks like it may be tissue or clotting blood. Blood begins to clot within 3 to 15 minutes.

Colin Butler ‏@ColinButlerCBC 10s11 seconds ago
Jury now looking at front passenger door where Halton police believed they found blood with possible tissue

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 6s7 seconds ago
Tissue is usually a lighter colour. This spot is very red, more akin to clotted blood...Crown says CFS tested it for blood, it was positive.

Colin Butler ‏@ColinButlerCBC 22s22 seconds ago
Jones says it could be clotted blood where the blood shrank back from where it originally landed

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 8s8 seconds ago
Now we are looking at areas of front passenger door. #Bosma

Adam Carter
Mar 7 2016 10:48 AM
Court now seeing photos of the lower metal flange on the front passenger door that also had blood on them.

Mar 7 2016 10:51 AM
Now seeing blood stains on the rubber door weather stripping between the door and the interior of the vehicle. Jones classified them as "altered" stains.

Mar 7 2016 10:52 AM
Millard is sitting and taking notes as Jones gives his testimony about blood spatter.

Jones says it could be clotted blood where the blood shrank back from where it originally landed

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 4m4 minutes ago
Now we are looking at areas of front passenger door. #Bosma

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 4m4 minutes ago
More blood from front passenger door.

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 4m4 minutes ago
More altered stains. #Bosma

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 2m2 minutes ago
Stains on rubber door edging (btwn passenger door and truck interior) appear altered. Again says could be caused by clean up process. #Bosma

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 2m2 minutes ago
Now handle of rear interior passenger door. An altered blood stain. #Bosma

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 1m1 minute ago
Crown: we're seeing lots of altered stains on the interior, all consistent with a cleanup? Jones: yes. #Bosma

Lisa Hepfner ‏@HefCHCHNews 1m1 minute ago
We are watching photo after photo of blood stains in and on #Bosma truck. Most appear to have undergone cleaning effort

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 21s21 seconds ago
Jones looked into holes on truck floor where front seats bolt in. Blood inside. #Bosma

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 9s10 seconds ago
Can see bloodstains inside holes of frame where drivers seat would have been bolted in. #Bosma

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 46s47 seconds ago
Now seeing pieces of mouldings from inside truck. Removed and photographed in Kraft paper.

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 17s17 seconds ago
Seeing photos of molding that was lying inside the cab. #Bosma

Adam Carter
Mar 7 2016 10:54 AM
We're now looking at the support framing for the front driver's seat. The seats were taken out.

Mar 7 2016 10:55 AM
Now we're looking at the blood that has gone down through holes in the framing. Without cutting the framing out, you can't get a good look at this area, Jones says.

Mar 7 2016 10:56 AM
A CFS expert testified that the blood found there had a “high random match probability” for Tim Bosma’s blood, Assistant Crown Tony Leitch says.

Mar 7 2016 10:58 AM
Now we're looking at pieces of the interior truck molding from inside the cab. Blood was found here, as well.

Mar 7 2016 11:00 AM
Court now seeing photos of the rear seats, which were still in the truck. "There were bloodstains on the seat area -- the centre seat," Jones says.

Clearly, with Millard taking notes during this blood evidence testimony, it's being telegraphed that the whole defense case is going to come down to a whodunnit between DM and MS. This is going to be a finger pointing match at the end of the day. I don't think the defense for either will suggest that their clients were not involved at all.

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 11s11 seconds ago
Now moving on to the seats. #Bosma

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont now
Now focusing on rear seats in truck. (Front seats removed and burned.)

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 4 Min.Vor 4 Minuten
Now focusing on rear seats in truck. (Front seats removed and burned.)

Where had they got new front seats from, I wonder.

Mar 7 2016 11:03 AM
There are two stains on the rear seats. "They're altered stains ... Because it's fabric, it's difficult for me to say anything about the stains," Jones says. When something hits a fabric, it absorbs some of the liquid.

Mar 7 2016 11:04 AM
Now we're looking at the front dash area on the truck's dash. "It was probably the only area where I could see there was cleanup, and it appeared there was an area of more blood in that area," Jones says.

Mar 7 2016 11:09 AM
Jones now talking about blood spatter on the dash. "The source has to be a little towards the right side or the passenger side," he says.

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 1m1 minute ago
Looking at several blood stains on seat cushions.

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 14s15 seconds ago
Jones says they are altered stains on truck seats. Fabric absorbs blood.

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 11s12 seconds ago
(In the back. The front seats, we know, were removed)

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 30s30 seconds ago
Now mist spatter to left of glovebox on dash. Small spatters right into glove box. Most of those spots are unaltered.

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 55s55 seconds ago
Source of blood had to be straight out in front of glove box, slightly to passenger side, says Jones. #Bosma

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 41s42 seconds ago
Jury heard when #Bosma left for test drive, he was in passenger seat. Tall man driving. Shorter man in back seat. Millard taller than Smich.

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 15s16 seconds ago
Now looking at dash. Spatter stain on crack btwn glove box/dash, Jones says. #Bosma

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 55s55 seconds ago
Source of blood had to be straight out in front of glove box, slightly to passenger side, says Jones. #Bosma

BBM This would seem to support the shot coming from the left, wouldn't it? The driver's seat?

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 49s49 seconds ago
Source would have had to be straight ahead of that, slightly toward passenger side. #Bosma

Colin Butler ‏@ColinButlerCBC 11s11 seconds ago
Jury now seeing pictures of dash board

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 4m4 minutes ago
More blood in dash near power outlet. It's a textured surface. Hard to clean lower areas of surface and crevices.

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 4m4 minutes ago
Jones points out heavier bloodstains on the front dash. This whole area was altered by a cleanup, he says. But heavier stains still visible

Colin Butler ‏@ColinButlerCBC 3m3 minutes ago
Jones said blood stains actually made into the 1 to 2 mm gap in the glove box on the passenger side

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 2m2 minutes ago
Blood on edge of beverage holder. Seeing close ups and various angles.

Adam Carter ‏@AdamCarterCBC 2m2 minutes ago
Court now seeing photos of blood on the inside edge of the front cupholder. #TimBosma #Bosma

Lisa Hepfner ‏@HefCHCHNews 3m3 minutes ago
In close up photos of #TimBosma truck we can see where blood is still stuck in dashboard crevices that are hard to clean.

Colin Butler ‏@ColinButlerCBC 2m2 minutes ago
He says it suggests the source of the blood was directly in front of it

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 1m1 minute ago
Smich warring white collared shirt, cobalt sweater today. Millard in blue/white striped collard shirt. #Bosma

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 47s47 seconds ago
Because dashboard is a textured material, blood stays in the tiny valleys of that material. Top layer cleaned off, he says. #Bosma

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 13s14 seconds ago
Remember Millard's "ring" he suddenly started sporting at start of the trial? It's actually a hair elastic wrapped around his ring finger.

Mar 7 2016 11:11 AM
These are "altered" bloodstains, Jones says. it's much easier to see blood here than the smaller drops elsewhere on the truck.

Mar 7 2016 11:12 AM
Court now seeing an extreme closeup on the front dash near a power outlet. "There are some heavier bloodstains by a cleanup," Jones says.

Mar 7 2016 11:13 AM
Sharlene Bosma winced in court as the closeup of the blood is shown. Physical evidence days like these definitely hit the family hard.

Mar 7 2016 11:14 AM
Court now seeing photos of blood on the inside edge of the front cupholder.

Mar 7 2016 11:15 AM
The stains on the cupholder are also "altered stains," -- a dilution effect, Jones says.

Mar 7 2016 11:17 AM
There's a ridged texture on the front dash, and the blood is embedded into it. Some areas have a cleanup and dilution look, Jones says.

Colin Butler ‏@ColinButlerCBC 23s23 seconds ago
Jones says the textured dash shows signs of cleaning up with blood remaining in the low points, whereas the higher stains are wiped away

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 51s51 seconds ago
Now extreme closeup of blood stain settling into dash...Now morning break for jury. #Bosma
