They have someone in a black car (they are showing on T.V. Did not say man or woman on CNN.

Capitol police say situation is now stable? (Whatever that means)

An attempt to ram the White House gates ended with shots fired at the U.S. Capitol, senators put under lockdown and a female suspect dead, sources told ABC News.

A Capitol police officer was also reported shot, sources said.

"We heard pops that sounded like shots," Sen. Bob Casey, D-Pa told ABC News.

"We heard shots. They told us to get behind a car," Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, said as he re-entered the Capitol building just moments before it was placed on lockdown.

A woman who was near the Whitehouse driving a black car exchanged words with police. She hit a police car and air bag went off. It was a female and she was hit. That is the child that was removed from the car. They don't know why she was racing away but force was authorized for police.

Yeah but even your run of the mill criminal would know better than to ram the barricades at the WH, and then get into a shoot out near the Capitol. There's tons of LE in both those spots.
