Due to to strict DoJ guidelines for more effective MP investigations and in mandated in all LE operations, we can deduce by looking at Heidi’s MP bulletin poster that JW did not report her as at risk or endangered due to a health or disability issue.

Also, I don‘t understand why we have bought in to JW’s declarations regarding the events, exchanges and between 10/16 and 10/28.
Yes, that would be good to know but at the same time if you are insinuating that we have really only heard that from JW, which you are correct about, then how did the whole night occur. If it was just JW saying that and LE making the report I would say hell he could have trashed the room (or its a kids messy room), made the whole thing up and maybe she even complied but the fact that the neighbors were the ones that called in saying she was semi-nude and had hopped their fence and was messing with the circuit breaker turning it on and off is another story.

Those are witnesses beyond JW that called LE and made the report. And then as far as if JW was just making these things up and you were not mentally ill why would you check yourself into a psychiatric ward? And any sane person that did would have to act a certain way to stay. You cant just say "hi im not mentally ill and think im fine but would like to check in here for a bit" like thats not how that works so there has to be some validity to it and not JUST what he is saying right?

Let’s create context. The events took place in 2015. She has had 50/50 custody with rights to determine medical and all kinds of care for her little boy since 2017. Everyone attests to her being a great, loving Mom.
No one including JW has reported Heidi being mentally ill. It would create a special designation of endangered on her MP bulletin. Come on.
It’s alleged that she was prescribed Adderall. Speculating of xourse but that is commonly prescribed for ADD which is not a mental illness.
Adderall is a very dangerous medication. It can cause delusions and psychosis in a hot second, even at prescribed doses. It does not mix well with many other things, meds, alcohol, diet, and stress.
The episodes described sound like delusions culminating in a psychotic episode. 3 out of 100 people in the US, particularly teens, experience sudden psychosis every year for a variety of reasons.

What is important here is that she got treatment for the episode and undoubtedly a medication change of some sort. Did JW attend to her pre break delusions? No. He just kept a list.
She would have been hospitalized to treat the episode and withdrawal, of course. When she was detained back then, LE would have taken her in for an Eval and apparently admitted. That’s why she was in psychiatric care, logically.
Good! Perfect! She went in and as recently as 30
days ago was taking care of and supporting her son and providing income for JW.

And I don’t understand why we take JW at face value. His statements have been shown to be inconsistent and unreliable, contradictory.
What’s the descriptive term for that?

I meant anyone else other than JW which would include these events that he reported. Was she erratic at work? Have a history with her family growing up? Did her friends ever see her in this way? MOO

That looks to be at her house the outdoor deck space had an area that looked like that you can see in the Zillow listing.

Totally own opinion, but I’ve shared before that in my experience, this kind of language is common for children who have grown up with separated parents, or divorced when the child was very young. Saying “dad” kind of implies a personal relationship between the mother and the dad, and it can be awkward and unnatural. “My dad” and “my mom” is reflective of the separation, separate households. It’s kind of like how you wouldn’t refer to a brother as “brother” to a friend. You’d say “my brother” because the friend doesn’t share a relationship with the brother.

Agree. My son’s father and I are divorced and he refers to us as “my dad” and “my mom” to the other parent.

I think some of you are confusing legal custody with physical custody. Legal custody means you are the decision maker, not that you have the kid full time. You can still have sole custody and share parenting time 50/50. The only time parents have joint custody is when they have an agreement to do so. A judge doesn't typically assign joint custody because if the parents could agree on anything, they wouldn't be in court. So the judge assigns sole custody to one parent based on a number of factors and does not mean the other party is a bad parent. The father probably needs sole custody at this point to be able to make decisions without the missing parent (therapy, school, travel, etc.).
There has actually been a shift in recent years with many states encouraging parents to have 50/50 split if possible. Several states actually require parents to come up with a joint parenting plan and submit it to the court for review.

Obviously there are instances where this isn't possible, for example, parents live in different states or one parent lives too far away to be able to get the kid(s) to/from school and daily activities.

Reading the documents, HP and JW had joint legal and physical custody. JW attached the original order as Ex. A to his 2015 request for temporary sole legal and physical custody. In support of this request he attached a CD with an audio allegedly from HP during her admission to the psychiatric facility and photos of BW's room.

It's been my experience that courts are extremely resistant to interfering in parent-child relationships and really only do so when it is absolutely necessary and in the best interest of the kid(s).

Based on the filings we've seen, the statement from her friend about how hard she worked to regain her original custody rights, I think she did have some obstacles to overcome. Obviously, she did since it's been stated repeatedly she had 50/50 at the time she disappeared.

It wouldn't surprise me if a judge had ordered her to complete an inpatient or outpatient treatment program and/or submit court-ordered drug tests if they felt there was sufficient evidence to prove the allegations. I haven't seen the order, so I can't say that with 100% certainty. JMO.

It is sad for her and her child to have this information blasted publicly, but there's something to be said about a parent who didn't give up, who did what they needed to do and ultimately proved to the court they were capable of providing a stable environment.

I hope anyone going through a similar situation sees that it isn't hopeless, you just have to keep working.

Edit: Not sure what happened but only half my comment posted. So edited to try to put in most of what I could remember.

I'm inclined to agree with JW and go with the threat that Heidi knows where the bones are buried. This opinion includes a small sampling of business deals concerning, mainly, her boss. HP was associating with mega millionaires.

Wonder what she told her bf about her fears. Was their argument bc he wouldn't come to LA to be with her?

'Heidi knows all of Jason's and the company's secrets. She knows where the bones are buried,' Wayne said.

... her ex-husband JW believes the answer to her location could be related to her job as financial controller at Camden Capital Partners.

JS, managing partner of CCP, is accused of swindling a Native American tribe out of millions in pension funds. He faces charges from the Securities and Exchange Commission for allegedly defrauding the tribes out of about $43 million.

JS is son-in-law of PeterGuber, co-owner of the Dodgers, Golden State Warriors, the Los Angeles Football Club* and founder of Mandalay Entertainment.

Search continues for missing mom Heidi Planck as information emerges about investigation into her employer

Heidi resided in a home that underwent major renovations financed by the Banc of California. Her Helms address is listed as LLC for CCP. I read someone here claim HP was paying rent but I'd like a link for that, please.

December 9, 2017 Los Angeles Times story:

Troubled Banc of California was a den of iniquity featuring on-premises sex, drugs and strippers, according to a lawsuit filed . . . by a former employee.

BANC Investigation – Banc of California Securities Investigation -

JS, a minority owner of the popular LA Football Club* and son-in-law of Hollywood mogul PeterGuber, has been accused of participating in an elaborate scheme that defrauded investors in tribal bonds of some $43 million.

JS is the brother of Steve S, the former chief executive and chairman of Banc of California, an Irvine bank that paid $100 million for the naming rights to LAFC* stadium in Exposition Park.

SS resigned from the bank in January 2017 at least in part due to the bank’s connections to JGalanis, who had business ties to bank insiders.

Co-owner of LAFC soccer team is accused of securities fraud by the SEC

This is merely a small sampling of perplexing business deals that surround HP but there is so much more. These people are criminals bc of their alleged business activities. It may make someone with [high] morals quite uncomfortable to be surrounded by swindlers.

HP has been with JS for seven years. She knows these people. Probably attended parties and had cocktails with many of them and others not mentioned. I do not trust them. I think HP is missing bc of them.

I don't think HP had a break in reality. She managed to get herself to the football game then to H+F apts. just fine. She appears alright when walking Seven.

The main reason I don't think JW harmed HP is bc he'd be stuck paying the full school tuition for BW or a whopping $60k per year and also he knows his son will suffer greatly by the loss of his mother. Whereas, criminals don't care about feelings.

All of this is simply an opinion and supposition based upon known facts. I do pray HP can be located safe and sound but many players in her life are greedy. They usually don't leave witnesses. The first thing I always ask is: Cui Bono?

In my state/county, we require a parenting class, whether it's a modification or an initial petition. Once that class is completed on both sides, they are offered free mediation sessions, unless it's inappropriate, in an effort to get parents to come to a mutual decision and a joint custody agreement. That is the goal for any divorce/custody issue.

The point of my post was the difference between legal and physical custody. In a case where parents cannot come to an agreement, there is no joint custody. There might be a 50/50 split in parenting time, but a judge is going to decide which person will have sole custody - the ability to make major decisions for the child. There could be two perfectly great parents, but in that situation, only one person will end up with primary custody.

Her fascination (obsession?) with James Bond is serious, especially when you throw this in with the name of her son, the name of her dog, the names of her social media pages, and her custom license plate.

With the SEC investigation, her reported past episodes, and mounting pressures in her personal life, I truly do wonder if she is alive and thinks she is an “agent on the run.”

Her dropping off the dog at the H+F building before fleeing doesn’t make logical sense, but we shouldn’t assume that she was acting in a purely rational mindset, even if she appears normal in the footage. She clearly had been to the building before with the staff recognizing her and her friend previously picking her up from there. Perhaps she viewed the building as a “safe house” so to speak and left Seven there on a floor where she thought a “contact” was located before going on the run.

I’m still holding out hope that this is the scenario for the sake of her child.

All MOO.

I don't think what is written much matters. The fact that it's their names doesn't make it necessarily ok-- the idea that rented walls can be drawn on and decorated at will isn't acceptable to everyone. Besides, sidewalk chalk does sometimes permanently stain surfaces. And it certainly will be harder to clean off an upright surfaces than a flat sidewalk or driveway.

Landlord here. Many tenants 40-ish and under have zero knowledge about property maintenance, because there’s simply no need to know how a garbage disposal works these days. 30-40yr olds understand that nails make holes, but that’s about it. The idea of vacating an apartment in better condition does not exist anymore.

If a box of chalk says “washable” on it - and most do - the user will assume it is washable. Not many people would have reason to know that “washable” reds may stain.

There are many websites devoted to personalizing a rental with removable (“removable”) wallpaper, lofts, etc. A bit of chalk is nothing.

I do not believe that Heidi left on her own accord however some stuff has me wondering about her financial situation:

  • She reportedly made around $140,000 including bonuses (this is before taxes, health insurance deductions, etc.)

  • The place she was renting was around $6300/month plus utilities

  • She reportedly was paying for half of her son’s private school tuition which was $30,000 on her part

Just with those two expenses that leaves her with around $64,000 and that is before taxes, etc.

Her Poshmark has her selling a bunch of wigs, very expensive wigs, the one I remember seeing she said she paid $1500 for new.

Can a single mother survive in the Los Angeles area on $64,000 (before taxes)?? I’ve looked at her past residences, she has always lived in high-end apartments that seem to be a little more expensive than someone with her salary (and who knows what she was making before when she was Sugarman’s assistant, I’m sure not nearly as much as she was making when she disappeared. I don’t know but her lifestyle doesn’t exactly seem to fit with the amount she was making.
Well a few things I would say to this...

1) This is what her salary and bonuses are what JW said she makes so again we don't know how much exactly she makes, not saying he is wrong but he also might not know for sure and she could certainly be bringing money in on the side doing other things as well, illegal or not just saying that is what we have heard from him.

2) We can only go off of a Zestimate so again, who knows if they had some arrangement or what she was actually being charged. Also, if you look at the Camden Capital LLC you will see that the business address changed from an office in Bev Hills to her home address in Jan 2020. This was also right when Covid was hitting and possibly she was going to start working from home and by putting her address as the business address for the LLC her rent could have been entirely written off as a business expense.

3) Her son's tuition looks to be 10-15k annually so if they split that it would be 5-7.5k each...unless I missed something where are you seeing the school is 60k a year? They also could qualify for financial aid with JW claiming to have had no income since Covid and you can pay monthly installments o if they were splitting that cost it would only be 500-800 a month on her end.

4) The wigs...she has some on there even more that she says were over 3k but again, who knows how long she has had those, if she bought them or if they were gifts. her ex worked in the hair industry so she could also possibly have had connections through people she met through him and gotten wholesale price or discounts...could have also expensed them...trust me I worked off wall st in NYC for years and the we could expense...even her car could be paid for.

I am definitely not disagreeing that while at a quick glance it seems she was living well above her means...there are two options...she either could have been and in serious serious debt OR many of her expenses were written off and/or paid for and she was living fine with her current income and any supplemental income, could have been escorting, doing deals etc. or even just simply selling wigs and whatnot, just saying we really have no clue what she was making and neither does JW for that matter.

Except, doesn’t Heidi have/had a realtor’s license, so I’d assume she knows more than most about property maintenance.

I would think, anyway. JMO

It's just chalk, a pressure washer will take it off.

Maybe. Some chalks permanently stain particularly if left on a surface a long time. And outdoor uses of water tend to be frowned on in LA. Of course, after renting a power-washer to clean off the chalk Heidi might have planned to have that entire surface repainted at her expense. We don't know. But drawing on a rented house is not something I'd be proud of doing as a fun "family activity." I'd also not want to teach a child to draw wherever he wishes. But JW did say GP is pretty lenient as a parent.
