Deceased/Not Found CA - Kristin Smart, 19, San Luis Obispo, 5/25/1996 *Guilty* #4

Ima go out on a limb here and predict that Paul's jury will have a verdict before end of day Friday at the latest.

They've lived with this case so long and I think they'll want to be done with it so they don't have to live with it over another weekend.

Not saying they'll phone it in, of course. If they weren't considering it carefully, we'd have a verdict by now.

Judge Jennifer O’Keefe went on the record around 11:40am Monday to announce that the jury for Ruben Flores has reached a verdict in the case against him. The verdict for Ruben won’t be read until one is also in for Paul’s case and at that time, they will be read back-to-back.
Paul's jury is still deliberating. Also during Monday's hearing, Paul’s attorney, Robert Sanger, filed a motion for mistrial after saying his private investigator saw a member of the prosecution hugging one of Kristin Smart’s family members. Judge O’Keefe denied the motion.
