Ugh. This is worst case scenario. The guy is dead. She's nowhere to be found.
I hope she's found. I doubt she'll be alive. However crazy things have happened.

The witness reported seeing a girl with a bleeding face pleading for someone to help her as a man armed with a handgun pulled her along. Officials say the witness ran for assistance and heard a gunshot.


Deputies found what appeared to be blood and Pinson's cellphone on the overpass, and she has not been seen since.

I can't imagine how frightened her family must be for her.

With him dead, we all know the odds here, but what worries me most is what if she is alive somewhere and terribly injured?

Have they established for sure that he did know her prior ? I know her family said they were not aware of him but others thought they had contact. Is this going to be a breakup he did not accept situation ?

I have a feeling he was a boyfriend of hers. Maybe he thought she was older than she is.
Her Facebook says she's in a relationship.
I searched her name on Instagram and found 3 accounts, all with similar account names but they have very few photos.

The article above says disturbing written content was found at his home. Either he was a spurned bf or had an obsession, I'm thinking. Like the Jessica white case in Detroit

BBM. Doubtful, unless he was held back for 3 years or in a multiage program. Even if she skipped a year and he was held back a year, they still wouldn't be in the same grade level. Same school- that's possible. I think he had an obsession. Too bad she was walking alone.

Confirmed that she was a freshman- doubt he was still a freshman at 19.

The commonalities are that two young 15-year-olds abducted while walking alone to school bus stop by young adult Hispanic males. Both suspects have cars, both in Bay Area. Both girls disappeared without their cell phones.

Sheriff Ferrara said that when the Amber Alert was issued Thursday, a license plate reader triggered a camera that took images of the gold Saturn in the area of Sir Francis Drake Boulevard in Marin County. After anaylzing the images, Ferrara said it does not appear to show Pearl sitting up in the car, but he says there's no way to tell whether she might have been lying down or in the trunk. http://www.ktvu.com/news/145393532-story

I fear you might be right. This link (http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-ln-pearl-missing-teen-vallejo-20160527-snap-story.html) says her sister has told LE that he was often seen roaming around their neighborhood.

Another article I've read (but can't remember where and I don't have a link for it) said that her younger brother couldn't contain his anger toward Castro. He said, "he was really lucky that the police got to him before I did."
