I'm not sure if Sherri ever said and I can't find anything but did she say how long the drive was from wherever she was to where she was dropped off?

I'm just going to add this. Chickens may be very therapeutic for her with a constant media circus going on. As pets, they are amazing. But even as livestock, I've heard old farmers talk about how relaxing it is to watch them. They are funny, loving smart creatures. And in Australia they actually have programs involving chickens used as therapy animals. So this is probably good for her emotional well-being. Once you're past the chick stage, they are easier to care for in terms of work.

Had a hen recently disappear. I figured some wildlife had gotten her. She came back with 8 chicks. I've spent hours just sitting outside, listening to them, and watching them. I mean, housework can wait...baby chicks especially with the hen, just entertain me. :D

Oh, thanks!

You're welcome.

Also, every time I see your name, I for some reason read it as "anal pieces." Should wear my glasses more.

LOL! Every time I sign in I just know that's what I'll think of now. But no, it's just the less funny, more mundane explanation of that I'm a Pisces. :floorlaugh:

I once had a baby chick I brought home from my Aunties Dairy Farm. I named it Picky. Dad and I built a cage. The neighbor hood kid sat on Picky and Picky died. We had a funeral and tenderly placed Picky in a shoe box for backyard burial. I was all of 8 and devastated. Mom assured me Picky was now in Chicky heaven. About a week later I decided to dig Picky up and make sure Picky had indeed made it to Chicky heaven. Picky was still in the box. I ran into the house screaming hysterically "Mom Picky is NOT! in Chicky Heaven" :blushing:

This was a good hearty laugh that I needed this morning.

Damn, Bravo. I'm an adult with a job and a house and a car and everything else boring that goes along with apparently being "a grown up" but that is the saddest thing I ever heard lol. Poor Picky. And poor Bravo. :giggle:

LOL I laugh about it now. Kinda. Anyhoo sorry to derail the thread but other than my chick story I got nuttin.

What is going on with all this chicken talk. I really need to get caught up
It's a sickness I have, Ana. It's called Obsessive Chicken Disorder, and there is no cure for it! Fortunately, it improves my life.

I don't think so. There are a lot of details missing that LE could have released by now if they want the public's help to find the kidnappers. We just heard the kidnappers let SP shower, so presumably she was being kept somewhere indoors with a bathroom rather than in a shed or storage locker or something. I don't think it's been mentioned if the place was a house or trailer or basement, if it was furnished as a home, if it had stairs, if she could hear traffic outside, etc etc.

Yes, there was the case of the 6 year old girl. She described the voices of those who held her, the paint in the room, the porch, the pet, the smells.....

If LE had information like this would they release it in case it seems familiar to anyone, or would they keep it quiet? Was that information from the girl released before they made an arrest or after?

"The younger of the women then escorted Papini out of a room, put her in a vehicle and drove along a winding road, eventually dropping her on the side of the road, Jackson said Papini told investigators."

This is all SP is gonna cough up. And blood, according to KP.

When SP was abducted, she may have been knocked unconsicous or held down in the vehicle
It would be dangerous to drive around with bandanas on faces or a bag over someone's head
She did not see her abductors uncovered
She said the vehicle had big windows

Quite a risk for kidnappers to use a vehicle with big windows.

This has crossed my mind many times. You'd think they could narrow down where she was kept to some extent. A twisty road. Zooming out on the map from where she was dropped, there are a few twisty roads, but how long of a ride was it, approximately? Were they in the vehicle for hours or was it just a short ride until they dropped her off?
As for the place she was kept, was it a house, a house trailer, a pole barn and they just marched her inside to shower, etc.
She saw the bathroom, so was it a modern bathroom or did it have a 70's vibe going on?
Did she have to climb stairs to another level to shower? I understand she kept her head down to 'avoid getting beat' but she surely got to take in her surroundings for some of the time.
Did she feel she was kept in a basement? A finished basement or not? Even blindfolded at most times, she would likely have gotten a feel of how big the place was, how many levels, etc.
If she could feel it was a multi level home, police could cross off their list any single story homes.
What condition was the place in? Was it a nicely kept home or an old shack?
It it had green shag carpet, LE could rule out newer-built homes.
Did she hear traffic, neighbor kids, airplanes overhead frequently, trains going by?
Did it smell like a musty old abandoned place or a lived-in place with Scentsy or candles going making it smell nice. Did it seem like these people took pride in the place, as if it were their home, or did they just throw food wrappers on the floor, things like that.
Did she hear any pets in or around the home? Any children visiting? Any adults visiting?
Did her captors seem to be cooking on-site, meaning there was a working kitchen, or was it an abandoned house and they just brought in take-out food, chips, etc.
If they were feeding her or themselves fast food, did she hear one of them leave to go get it and were they gone for a long time, or did it seem like there were restaurants nearby?
Do most homes in California have basements? I know in some states they aren't common. If she feels she was kept in a basement, and they aren't common, that could narrow down the places.

It's odd, well not for this case, that they haven't given any hints or clues to the public to have their wheels turning about a place in their neighborhood that might have been the holding place.
I realize they don't want to make it look like they need the public to solve this, but as far as we know they haven't gotten it nailed down on their own yet.
Are they even looking for this place?

unless the windows were tinted?

Trying to remember all the details of this one. Wasn't she in a big black escalade or SUV or something?

BEFORE. Immediately upon the girls recovery. It was released to try and identify her abductor. Also, she was sexually assaulted. 6 years old. Quite an amazing little girl.

Is anyone else having problems with very frequent popup messages? I keep getting “You have won a prize” from Amazon, Apple, etc.. I have to close the website to get rid of them.

Yes. It happens mainly at night, and it shuts me completely down on the site.

I get this while using my iPhone, but not on my iMac. Annoying as heck.
