I'm not sure why she was dragged into a field. Wouldn't it be far more easier to dump her in the water of the White Slough? Are the ponds shallow or deep enough to hide a body? Could it be the water receded and she turned up?

Where in the snip-it underneath are the ponds situated?

Are there cannabis growers located near this place? Maybe she was working in a grow-house.

@Mka28 and other's from the Stockton area. From the Stockton serial killer thread I heard there is a new Chief and Mayor in Stockton. Together with the Cold Case Unit this unidentified woman might get another chance. This is hope.

Hello! We do not have any cannabis fields near where the doe was found. They have a dairy, and the marina. Her body was thought to be out in the Pond from March to August. You can access the ponds very easily. Many people fish in the ponds.

Stockton is terrible. They knew about the Stockton Serial killer but didn’t say anything. The PD truly needs so much help. If you’re homeless or prostitute, they don’t pay any attention.

I’m definitely not crossing the Stockton PD. I’ve been told by a Detective @ SPD to not post this Doe. I have no idea why. It could be so many reasons why. This is why I keep detouring this case.
 
I have to try….. I didn’t see anything concrete about how long Jane Does remains are known to have been at the discovery site. I believe I saw 2 years? I’m from Portland Oregon and a woman went missing from here in 2015. Her name is Jennifer Lee Brown. The JB tattoo, obvs her initials. And the height 5’8-5’9 lines up. Shoe Size, Jenny Brown wore a 9.5. She had some tattoos, unknown if she acquired a Weed Leaf? She was transient before her disappearance and easily could’ve traveled one state down to California.There is little info on this Jane Doe. Can someone somehow compare this Jane Doe To Portland Oregon’s Jennifer Lee Brown? She has been missing a long time.She has a Namus: Missing Person / NamUs #MP32367. Thank you.

Also may I add Jennifer Brown is said to have a tattoo of a sun on her foot maybe? I think I read this Jane Doe may have had a tattoo of a Sun or Moon?

IMO the stats fit, the tattoos are a question mark, because of decomposition there could have been other tattoos, her story resonates homelessness and addiction. There was a homeless camp near where this Jane Doe was found. The only thing is: I'm having a hard time with the story if it comes to distance, the A to B so to speak. I feel she had some deep connections to people, Jenny went missing in 2015, Jane Doe was found in 2018. That would mean 3 years without contact with those who love her. I'm not saying it's impossible, sometimes this happens and people loose their way, but what are the changes?

To be honest I think it's interesting enough to submit her as a potential match. There seems to be DNA on file for Jenny. Maybe it's possible to rule her out real quick.

Thanks for responding. Her shoe size was listed on The Find Jenny Brown Facebook Page. It came up when remains were unearthed in an Oregon forest some time back. I agree the distance is pretty far. Her circumstances going missing are strange. A rule out would be great! Her case just baffles me and I can’t stop thinking about her. Where the heck is she?!? I’m desperate obviously. Lol! She did have an extremely tight net group of friends and family. Basically the whole city of Portland! She was a well known and well loved bartender at all the “super cool hipster” bars for years. It’s def a long shot but I had to put it out there. Xoxo
 
@Amber.T , if there are NAMUS pages for both a set of remains & a missing person, it is easy to send an email to both Regional Program Specialists -- and sometimes both pages have the same Regional Program Specialist.

Include both NAMUS numbers and the reasons you'd like the two cases compared.

I believe she will be identified in the next few years. Her tattoo "J.B." may be a big clue, perhaps her own initials.

Could this missing female from Illinois be her?

She has a "J" tattoo on her right buttocks as opposed to her left like Jane Doe's. And she is believed to have a marijuana leaf on her arm as opposed to her calf.... Plus it is a very long time inbetween.....

But depending on the circumstances, maybe she was running away from something?

to be fair, the woman I suggested might have also been a victim of homicide. but I do see that it is highly unlikely.

Good find. Dates, state, height, even initials "GB" are very similar to the tattoo "JB."

The weight difference gives me pause, but we don't know where the weight description for GB came from.

Hopefully they will look into this potential match.
