Whoa! This is huge, three women in a fairly close proximity. I really hope we hear more about the status of the other two cases. Praying there is a break for all three. Wonder if the Chico and Grass Valley cases were publicized? This is the first I heard about them.

I noticed on Facebook that there is a weekly farmer's market/swap meet in the area. Not sure how big it is, but maybe some of the local people passing out fliers could try to get the word out there. I wish I lived closer so I could help.

Yes, Denio's Farmers Market and Auction. It's not far from my house and I was planning on stopping by there this weedend. All ideas are welcome, so keep 'em coming. Besides coffee shops, gas stations (etc.), I have been trying to think of places that get the most traffic. People come from near and far to go to Denio's, which is why it is worth checking out. Maybe even more worthwhile to get a vendor's spot. To answer your question about how big it is, not sure of the exact numbers but A LOT of people are there every weekend. Another place I am going to attempt to get some flyers up at is Thunder Valley Casino- big time traffic.

Was it this weekend that her son was coming to town? Wonder if he will be able to get any info or media.

I believe he was here earlier in the week (July 23rd), but hadn't heard if he planned to come back this weekend. I might've missed it. I haven't been on a lot since I've been pretty sick but I've been following along. Was so hoping for some new news tonight. Susan, where are you?

GRASS VALLEY (CBS13) — Three older women that mysteriously went missing, leaving behind few clues and families desperate for answers.

TY for posting this information. I read that Susan was a person of fixed habits, that she almost always went to the market at around the same early hour each time she shopped. She may well have been an appealing victim for this reason. moo Seems fairly likely that these disappearances are linked. jmo

BBM I agree completely. If they're NOT linked it's almost even more scary.

But where are the cars of the other two women? Aren't they missing as well?

Good question. Yes, it does sound like the other two vehicles are missing along with the women... I'm going to see if I can find more about the other two stories/cases, here or in MSM. I'm curious how much is or isn't similar between them.

Thinking of Susan and family and hoping she'll be found soon.

I don't like "bumping" up cases when I've nothing much to say, because it displaces someone else equally important...but that said, Susan's case, and the lack of activity to find her, is driving me crazy.

It's driving me crazy as well. I haven't had the time to check up on her case as much lately. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem that I have missed anything. I wonder if a vigil is still in the works. This whole thing just makes me so sad. :(

Same here! I've been so sick I haven't been able to do much of anything, but it upsets me every time I log in to see not much has happened. I can barely keep up at home right now but unless I flat out can't go because I'm in the hospital or something, I'll be there if there's a vigil for Susan. I hope the plan doesn't fade away.
