Do you think that her ex would talk to you? I know you said her sons have made it clear they have no interest in the case anymore, and that's a shame. Maybe if your cousins won't talk, maybe her ex would... at least to find out about the DNA and how they made sure it was definitely her foot.
pearseha,
I just found and finished reading this thread. My heart goes out to you and your family. I also understand needing some time away, so please reply when you are up to it. I also understand your moral concerns. If I may suggest, follow your fathers lead. His sister is so near and dear to his heart, I will pray with your family for answers and closure.
I think and hope you can get info from the RMCP if you decide to pursue them, that is public record in Canada no?
I am also curious about the house fire. Was it ruled accidental? Arson? Is it still being investigated? the timing is highly suspicious.
As for the partial remains being found. I hate to suggest this and I don't know how to do so gently, but is it possible her foot may have been severed from her body if she had been on a trail travelled by snowmobilers? How much detail, and how thoroughly was that trail-area of the woods used by the snowmobiler searched? Was it ever searched again when the weather broke?
will be thinking of you and your family.
((((((((hugs))))))))))
That's awfully creepy - and I agree, definitely fishy. I'll be interested to see if LE takes any note of it.New news!
My aunt's cell phone was found (I didn't even know she had one, nor did my folks). It was found IN A DIFFERENT TOWN... near the borderline of the property owned by the fellow who owned the house that burned down and then moved away...
Um... I can't help but think that's a bit fishy.
We're waiting for some sort of word from LE. My dad knows the guy who found the cell and turned it in, so he's fully aware of everything - we're just interested in seeing if LE is actually going to do anything about this now.
Hi Pear...I lived in Bedford at the time of your aunts disappearance and vaguely remember hearing/reading about it in the news.New news!
