Thank You.
I did go to the First Nations website and it
looks like there are 79 homes for rent owned
by the tribal assoc. I suppose these are low
rent or subsidized housing for residents.
I have a hard time understanding how they can survive in such an isolated area without much financial assistance.

I’ve mentioned a few times that I have a home in a community in rural Newfoundland. If you have a roof over your head, and you can fish and hunt and have a good sized freezer, you can live pretty well without much money.

Perhaps worth mentioning that Canada has universal medical care, which takes care of a big issue. Bernie Sanders’s proposal in the US is a copy of what Canada does on health care.

What's everyone thinking for the out come today? Surrender? Shot? Murder/Suicide?
None of the above. I'm guessing these guys will be on the run for a few more days anyway. These guys consider themselves as survivalists. One of the fathers said they'd been doing it for several years, so they are probably doing better than most think. They also seem to have been adept at strategy games, so that could work in their favour. At this point they are making moves to avoid detection, and in my opinion their best move would be to double back towards Gillam as LE likely expects them to continue in a westerly direction. Right now the object isn't to get anywhere, its to remain free for long enough that people forget about them.

In the last thread someone said they only had a pellet gun, is that true? I thought their victims died from gunshots?

No information has been released about the type of gun or the type of injuries to two of the victims other than they died by "gun violence." There is no information about how the 3rd victim was killed.

makes me wonder if this isnt the dump after all, like someone suggested before. Fits with the interviews etc, about them running 'across the street towards lagoons and into tree line'

I marked the location of the dump based on crowd sourcing, but I am not sure that the label is in the correct location.

The longer this takes the worse it get! #canadamanhunt recent posts on Twitter

well you were one of several folks and several suggestions have been put forth. But where you had the dump marked, which is where I think most of us were imagining it, doesnt seem to fit with the confirmed video of dump we have.
Hard to say, google sat maps could be out of date, but the spot closest to sewage seems more likely now.

They also don’t live like typical city/town dwellers with a ton of material goods, a mortgage and credit card debt. It’s a dry community so they don’t spend money on alcohol, they don’t drive a new car every few years etc. They live off the land as much as possible, being sure to utilize all resources as best as possible, they live with what’s available and find a way to make do. Survive is relative term here since they have a very different lifestyle than most people can imagine, at times it’s not an easy one.

They're the real survivalists, urban dwellers are just play acting.

So they do have a proper gun?

I think it needs to be closer to the water, someone just posted tweets and one had a small video clip, can clearly see the lake? I'm not home so can't pull up a good map because I suck with my phone lol

Thinking, if the teens found the dump and it's off to the west of town, to me that means they'd have skulked around town in order to find it.

For all practical purposes, you cant kill someone with a pellet gun. They are suspects in two shooting deaths so signs certainly seem to point to them having had a firearm of some kind at some point. They have not been spotted with one, not that that means much. Really we dont know much so anything about what type of gun, how much ammo etc etc is guesswork at best until more info comes out

I skipped a lot of posts in the last thread but I noticed one person refer to the fugitives eluding "1000" police officers and I wanted to address that. Yesterday there was 16 and they were adding 20 more today.

So hardly 1000. It doesn't seem like enough to me though. Maybe they were referring to specialists and there's loads more 'regular' cops? I hope so anyway.

Yes, the location east of town (bottom right of image below) seems to be too far from the water and nowhere near the lagoons:

On closer inspection, it looks more like a gravel pit (material removed):
