36 days of evidence! Looks like this case had a lot of victims, or on the other hand there is a ton of evidence to throw these 3 in jail and let jail justice do it's thing...

I heard that Shayne has already been attacked in jail, he showed up to court a few weeks back with a black eye and beat up face... Apparently he was moved from the previous jail that is close to Orillia, because one of the guards was related to a victim, so it was a conflict. They moved him to Lindsay max, which is a perfect place for a like him... He will get what comes to him there while he awaits his trial. I hope guards turn their eyes...

Kathryn Thompson pleaded GUILTY!

Kathryn Thompson, who turns 21 on Friday, pleaded guilty to 11 counts including conspiring with former boyfriend Shayne Lund to drug and sexually assault children, committing bestiality on a dog, and creating and possessing child *advertiser censored*.

Both Lund and Taylor remain in custody while Thompson, who played a lesser role in the offences, has been out on bail.

It is alleged Lund used the women to get access to children.

Initially Lund, the son of an OPP officer, was facing over 100 counts while the women faced about 26 counts each — but Lund’s charges have been paired down to 88.

Charges against Lund and Taylor include conspiring to kidnap, drug and sexually assault a child as well as charges of sexually assaulting animals and children, and making child *advertiser censored*.

The Crown has said it will be seeking dangerous offender designations for Lund and Taylor, something that would mean an indefinite sentence.

Now that Thompson has pleaded guilty, the Crown has applied to re-open Lund’s preliminary hearing so that Thompson can testify for the Crown.

Avery Taylor, 21, stood in the prisoner’s box weeping and red-faced, as she whispered the word “guilty” 10 times to 10 separate counts that could have her sentenced as a dangerous offender.

The charges include conspiring to kidnap a child, conspiring to drug children, making child *advertiser censored* and sexually assaulting a child.

Both guilty pleas were unexpected and the Crown has announced both women will be called to testify at Lund’s preliminary hearing, which continues Thursday.

The court heard this week how Kathryn Thompson and Avery Taylor shared and encouraged Lund's sexual fantasies involving children and animals and, in an agreed-upon statement of facts read aloud in court, Thompson, 21, admitted to a number of gruesome acts, including:


Encouraging Lund to commit crimes against a four-year-old.
Coaching him by text to drug and sexually assault a 12-year-old.
Committing bestiality with her family dog.
The statement also said Thompson and Lund "had previously discussed having children together and having sex with them to teach them."
 
If anyone is interested, I am pretty sure these are the Twitter handles for the 3 of them. He doesn't have any postings, but the girls have quite a bit. Surprised they weren't taken down.

Ugg...I just found this thread yesterday and I am just floored by the whole thing. I can't believe I haven't, seen this on the news yet! I haven't read all of the news articles yet. I'm just sickened by this!
 
Shayne Lund pleaded guilty.

BARRIE - A Midland man who relentlessly urged his girlfriend to kidnap children from a playground so he could drug and rape them pleaded guilty to a slew of sex offences in court Tuesday.


Shayne Lund, 23, stood in the prisoner’s box and wiped away tears as he pleaded guilty. Initially he was charged with more than 100 counts but the charges were reduced to 34, including sexually assaulting small children, creating child *advertiser censored* and committing bestiality.

During the investigation police uncovered photographs on cellphones showing small children — aged two to five — nude in various positions.


Police also uncovered shocking text conversations between the three accused, where Lund would repeatedly ask the girlfriends to get him access to small children so that he could “drug and rape” them.


“Get me a little ‘un,” Lund would text.


“I’m trying,” Taylor responded.


“You’re always promising,” Lund responded. “You’ve been saying that for a year.”


In another series of texts, Taylor asked Lund to kidnap a child.


“I dare you to get a child from a playground,” Taylor texted Lund, court heard.


“I will,” Lund answers.


“Pick them young enough so they don’t remember,” Taylor suggested.
