...Area residents were surprised to hear of the discovery just 100 metres off a busy grid road.

...Residents say the badly-damaged farm house has been vacant for several years. The adjacent land has been rented out. Saturday afternoon, several investigators worked behind the house, where both marked and unmarked RCMP vehicles were parked.

Juliann Sorotski still holds out hope her daughter Sheree Fertuck will be found. It’s been one year since Fertuck, a well-liked, popular, outgoing mother of three, vanished.

Sorotski believes at least one person knows what happened.

“Whoever ever abducted her or took her knows. Only that person and God know what happened to her,” Sorotski said Wednesday as RCMP drew attention to the anniversary of Fertuck’s mysterious disappearance. They have declared the case a homicide investigation and appealed to the public for help.

Just read this case and all signs point to the ex. I hope he talks or they find her and arrest her killer.
 
In the last year, photos from space helped to solve the case in the Calgary area with the disappearance of the young boy and his grand parents.
I am wondering if the RCMP looked at the possibility of any photographs of the gravel pit, around the time that Sheree went missing south of Saskatoon. It's just a remote chance, that anything would have been captured.
Each day, I check for news of a possible finding of Sheree, and I pray for her to be found. I live far to the north of Saskatoon in Saskatchewan.
I thank the people of her farm community and others for putting in so much effort to find Sheree.

It did occur to me that Sheree could have been met at the gravel by persons who came in a vehicle. The vehicle might have been sitting there for some time. What law enforcement would have to provide is the time parameters and the longitude, latitude of the gravel pit. These pictures from space would be compiled and could be accessed by the proper authorities, in conjunction with the satellite people.
 
It would definitely be great if they could do that.
