RsbmHe didn't want a divorce because, of course, it would have cost money.
I thought his being a Mormon was more of a factor in why he didn't just divorce?

As ex-LDS, I can tell you that divorce is frowned upon, but murder of your spouse by slow poison isn't an acceptable alternative.Rsbm

I liked the bit where the defense attorney basically said, "Craig's wanting to cheat on his wife with another woman isn't a motive because he cheated on her lots of times"!Oh man, the defense is winning no points with the jurors from this opening!
Blaming LE (blinders) for Craig sending a letter to his daughter to buy a cheap computer and plant evidence!
Blaming Angela's faith for wanting to stay in a broken marriage-- which ultimately broke her!
Nope. This is not a complicated case of who done it!
MOO

It was ridiculous, but I guess she did the best she could considering the mounds of evidence against her client.
It’s possible these murderous guys (and gals) in an anti-divorce religion would rather not risk the shame of divorce if they think they can get away with murder. But you’re right that money was the biggest factor. As ex-LDS, I can tell you that divorce is frowned upon, but murder of your spouse by slow poison isn't an acceptable alternative.
If they really cared about the spiritual repercussions, they wouldn't murder. I mean, that's in the top ten original commandments. It’s possible these murderous guys (and gals) in an anti-divorce religion would rather not risk the shame of divorce if they think they can get away with murder. Just read his arrest warrant. This guy is so cooked. Add to that all the other stuff since his arrest.

^^rsbmState witnesses: Dr. Ashley-Alpana Rawloo Khalap Peko [working as an emergency physician at AdventHealth Parker when Angela came in on March 6, 2023]. Dr. Arthur Levene, an AdventHealth Parker cardiologist. Danielle Andrews, nurse. Several other (4) nurses testified [could not access article, so don't have names].

Here are some additional State witnesses from Tweet/X:
Dr. King-Dylewski, a hospitalist, described Angela’s March 11 admission for syncope, nausea, and tachycardia, with no diagnosis despite extensive tests.
Nurses Andrews and Schaefer, triaging on March 6 and 9, respectively, confirmed Angela’s pale appearance and worsening ESI score from 3 to 2, with negative suicide screens ruling out self-harm.
Nurses Caldwell and Bremer detailed March 9 care, including blood draws, linking to potential forensic evidence.

Thanks - Had time to edit my post!
edited to add - if I go to the tweets - I don't "land" on the tweet - just a sign in page - so can't see what it has.
If @genjustlaw does a recap for day 2 of the trial, I'll expand and copy/paste the entire tweet so that it's viewable for you. They are providing very thorough details in one location!![]()
Did her family suspect he was poisoning her?
I believe I heard Lawyer Lee in her live last night talking about a home camera installed by her family capturing a conversation between them where Angela confronted him about telling the hospital she was suicidal. Is this in any of the the tweets?
I'm so disappointed that no one seems to have put up the whole openings, despite permission granted.
